Pane E Olio Toscaanse Delicatessen — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I love to find the smal spots in different cities but specially in Amsterdam. This Amazing Italian Toscaanse Delicatessen place is mind blowing. When I’m in Amsterdam I go here ones a week or more if I have the time. Pane E Olio is one of the most homie and nice places, they make everything on their own and when I say everything I mean everything. They treat you like your one of them and they always ask you have you been doing. I am blown away with their focaccia, just to eat it without nothing is a blessing. But they have these amazing focaccia sandwiches with different toppings I ALWAYS go for the Mortadella, burrata and tomato one it never fails me and with that a San Pellegrino Aranciata. And there desserts and baked sweets are just heavenly. There is no place like Pane e Olio I can’t wait...

My friend and I got a snitty sandwich here a little while ago and found it to be of very average quality. The sandwich looked semi decent in the display but lacked proper filling itself and wasn't spread out properly too.

The gentleman behind the counter was friendly, yet rushed customers a bit in determining what their order would be.

The display with all products looked okay and displayed various pastries.

The second display has a lot of stains and dirt in the display itself which makes me question the hygiene of the place. Ingredients were touching the bottom of the display without any bowl or dish underneath.

With all the sandwich options in Amsterdam, I wouldn't recommend...

Not a person to leave reviews but this place deserves every bit of it.

I crossed this place often and was always tempted to try the food as everything looked so fresh and super delicious. So finally I visited the place today !!

We ordered Panini vegetarino, aubergine parmigiana, ravioli, cannoncini and ofcourse tiramisu. Each item just exceeded our expectation and their tiramisu just melts in your mouth. By far the best tiramisu I have ever had !!

So anyone in Amsterdam, just ditch other fancy Italian places and stop by this amazing place where everything is mouth watering. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
