Stone's Café Bar & Nightclub — Restaurant in Amsterdam

I ordered 2 🍻 in plastic cups and they charged me 78€ for that!!! On 18.08 i visited Amsterdam for the first time and when i walked into this bar at night on the 19.08, my wife ordered 2 🍻 and while i was talking to her i did a contactless payment with my Bank card while looking and speaking to her, being distracted and of course fully trusting the Barman (Baldhead Guy) behind the counter who served us that i pay what i ordered for and not more, and i was in there for not even 10 mins. After getting back home i saw on my Bank online details that they charged me way too much, and i was very shocked that they would do such a thing! I want to come back one day with my Team, and i m sure this must be a misunderstanding, so please transfer the Money back to my account! Ps I liked this bar it seemed cool at first, but when i also decided to go to the bathroom real quick, one of the employees was knocking on my door asking me how long i will take 🙁so i got out of there already disappointed by that honestly.

Good place to experience the Amsterdam nightlife. Unfortunately the bouncers are squeezing money out of people by not just keeping their hands up but forcing people to pay up front to get in. On the way out one of them said: hey, it’s both ways! I witnessed this behavior on several occasions now so it’s worth this review. Seriously: for a good vibe at the entrance this place needs decent security and not bandits like this. Without these guys at the door it’d easily score three or four stars.

Edit: thanks for the response. But i'm serious. Your bouncers are not of the de-escalating type and i've seen them literally demand to pay more than just a tip (both ways). Talking doesn't do the trick with these types (as i can see it's not the first time you've had this feedback). But hey, it's your good name... Just saying. Besides your 'gangster-type-of-door-policy' it's a good place with friendly staff, nice music and a good atmosphere. I'll try again some night (hoping you really took action)....

Ok music was unexpected a really good mix, (hip hop, pop, rock, throwbacks, and bangers all endlessly mixed.. one critique is they shorten the song way too much, like the dj has ADHD.. still great choices though). Prices were a little high for and person controlled. I.E. weak. Super small dance area, but everyone was having a good time and positive energy.. one other weird thing is the door man asked for a tip on entering NEVER in 20+ years of hard clubbing have I seen that, not a good look.. management take note But yeah decent place, small but has a organic vibe that's nice and not pretentious.

P.S. asked for just a water with my drink to balance and they charged me €4 .. I HATE it when clubs charge you for bottled water without asking, seriously it's in everyone's best interest that patrons at a bar...
