We visited this restaurant earlier this week. While the food was generally good and several staff members were friendly and professional, our overall experience was affected by one disturbing incident.

One of the servers (a round-faced Asian woman in her 30s or 40s) displayed noticeably rude behavior toward our table (we are Asian guests). Her tone was curt and dismissive throughout the service. What made it particularly confusing and upsetting was that the other servers were very kind and welcoming, and we noticed that this particular server treated non-Asian (especially white) guests with noticeably more respect and warmth.

We sincerely hope this wasn’t a case of internalized bias or some form of discriminatory behavior. This review is not meant as a complaint for the sake of it, yet we hope the management takes this seriously. Behavior that appears to reflect bias, whether intentional or not, can have a lasting impact on...

If you’re looking for somewhere cozy and quiet to enjoy a meal, this isn’t the place for you. HOWEVER… if you’re looking for delicious food that will have you humming, ooh-ing and aah-ing as you munch, then this IS the place. I had their dimsum mix which was a selection of pork spring rolls, vegetable spring rolls, fried shrimp wontons and juicy steamy dumplings. As a main course I tackled their half roasted peeking duck … and let me tell you, not a crumb was left. The soft, juicy texture of the duck breast paired with the crunchy skin, wrapped in a delicate pancake… it was a party in my mouth. Go here for good food. You’re packed in like sardines, sitting elbow to elbow with people you’ll probably never meet again but it is SO WORTH IT!!! The hustle and bustle of the servers, practically flinging dishes out of the kitchen, balancing them like trapeze acts, it’s truly...

Omg the Peking duck here is amazing! We got here after I saw a pic of the duck and we had to have it. Sooo good! And I've been in Beijing just for the peking duck. I am not kidding you! The skin is crispy, fat carefully separated, meat is tender, served with super thin lotus pancakes, scallions and cucumbers. Absolutely amazing!

We also got eggplant vegetable dish and a mix of fish and seafood in the curry sauce. Both were very good, but I am coming back for the duck. Oh and almost forgot we ordered Long Baos - which were not good. They were dry, the skin was super thick and tasteless. I feel bad that I ate them.

Talked to the waitress and she also said the peking duck here is what brings all the regulars in.

For all of that and 10% tip, we paid 75 Euro....

A very authentic Southern Chinese restaurant, we ordered the hot claypot rice, it is a MUST, so delicious, although it wasn't cooked as long as I would like, and don't have the crunchy rice bottom, but it's good enough. We also ordered the Sichuanese spicy beef platter, fried young green shoot with garlic and tofu, shrimp, squid and pork skin in hot pot, all recommended. I do think their dishes are a bit on the salty side though, this can be improved. Then I came the second night in a row, and we ordered the drunken chicken hot pot, the soup base was excellent, and they offered home made beef ball, shrimp ball, and cuttlefish ball, love them all. But their beef slices weren't so fresh, but drunken chicken was good!
