I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a cappuccino at The Stroopist in Amsterdam, and it was truly a delightful experience. The coffee was exceptionally well-balanced, with a rich, full-bodied flavor that harmonized beautifully with the creamy milk and airy foam. It was clear that great care had been taken in crafting the drink, and it really stood out among the many coffees I’ve tried. The ambiance of the café added even more to the experience. The interior is tastefully decorated—vibrant, cozy, and full of character—which made it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. The atmosphere felt both welcoming and uplifting, a lovely contrast to the bustling streets outside. What truly made the visit memorable, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Their hospitality added a personal touch that elevated the entire visit. Considering the café’s prime location in a busy, tourist-heavy part of Amsterdam, I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the prices were. The quality of the coffee, the ambiance, and the service all far exceeded expectations, making it more than deserving of a five-star rating. If I find myself back in the area later today, I wouldn’t hesitate to stop by again for another cappuccino. And next time, I’m definitely planning to try one of their famous Dutch stroopwafels—they looked absolutely...

We were not sure since they seemed to be in doubt, but we decided to trust them and we bought it.
However, a couple of hours after having eaten it, I started to have wheal all over the body, and what was my surprise when I read that not only the dough has egg and butter, but also the syrup inside has honey and butter as well.
I think it's totally unacceptable that, if a person doesn't know what vegan is, she tries to deceive the client just in order to sell something - or, even worse, that in a city like Amsterdam somebody that works in a restaurant/coffee shop/etc doesn't know...
Read moreUnfortunately another typical tourist trap located in the red light district in Amsterdam. If you’re looking for an owner with anger management issues that snaps at random people - you are at the right place! You cannot even walk by without getting stared down by the owner with his unsettling eagle eyes, trying to lure you inside and order something. From what I witnessed the owner should definitely seek therapeutic treatment for his outbursts and harassing behaviour. And judging from how he reacts to other negative reviews my point is proven. Stay clear from this place, there are so many...
