I don't get the 4.3 stars, the Pizza was barely eatable, not even mediocre.
I almost didn't eat the whole day and arrived an hour before closing, so I was very hungry. I got the pizza like 5-10 minutes after ordering.
The pizza (Peperoni - pork meat): The dough was not backed properly and the dough was sour. Sadly, there wasn't much tomato sauce on it. I had to look to make sure there is something under the cheese besides the tomato sauce you can see at the crust. There was a huge, huge amount of cheese. It was really the only thing there was to the pizza. Combined with the fat/oil soaking with the sour dough.. maybe the cheese is there to compensate for rest. But it didn't. The peperoni was topping it off with little flavour. The crust was very bad, it was very chewy, also kinda hard. I had problems cutting the pizza. Also without some cheese from the middle part of the pizza, it tasted only sour and oily.
To eating the pizza: I got dull knife. Maybe that is the reason the pizza is being sluggish, so the knife can be used a longer time, also the plates don't get any stripes from cutting. Cutting was the pizza however was very stressful and eating shouldn't be stressful.
All in all: The pizza was very sloppy. If I would have taken the pizza I could have formed a ball easily and everything would be one big oily mess.
It seems like the place is only profit oriented. There aren't that many places to sit and I don't think people spend here more than 30-45 minutes.
The service was friendly. Also there was a cute cat at the next table. Apparently it houses at the place, which added some flair to it.
Maybe the pasta is better, but who knows..
Personally and sadly this 'pizza' is one of the worst pizzas...
Read moreIf you’re searching for the ultimate pizza experience, look no further than Trattotia Fantasia. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma of freshly baked dough, bubbling cheese, and wood-fired magic hit me instantly – and my taste buds were already celebrating.
The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of character. Whether you’re out for a casual dinner, a date night, or a meal with friends, this place nails the vibe. Cozy seating, friendly staff, and a view of the open kitchen where you can watch the pizzaiolos at work – it’s pizza theater!
Now, let’s talk about the star of the show: the pizza. Absolutely phenomenal. Perfectly crisp-yet-chewy crust, the kind that’s blistered just right from the wood-fired oven. Each ingredient tasted fresh and thoughtfully chosen – from the rich San Marzano tomato sauce to the velvety mozzarella and bold toppings.
Don’t skip the appetizers or dessert either – the garlic knots were divine, and the tiramisu? Chef’s kiss.
To top it all off, the service was impeccable – attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely passionate about the food they’re serving.
Trattotia Fantasia isn’t just a place to eat pizza. It’s a place to fall in love with pizza all over again. I can’t wait to come back. Easily one of the best pizza experiences I’ve ever...
Read moreI mean the place is nice but not wow. so we waited a bit before we got a table. we were seated within 15 mins which was nice. We were seated by the "improv" bar. The menu isn't special I would say pretty generic. The name of the restaurant is also, Fantasia - doesn't sound that Italian to me. So the waiter took our orders and we waited and waited and waited. We ordered the Bruschetta Fantasia which were a mix of all the Bruschetta they offer. The toppings were very delicious even though they were quite oily but the flavor won to oil. The bread wasn't anything special and it wasn't toasted which to me was weird. I had the pizza Fantasia which was pretty much an everything pizza and my friend had the caneloni. They took forever. I had the feeling my pizza was prefabricated because the cheese was melted and hot the dough wasn't crispy and didn't have signs of oven/fire burn. While my friend's food was sizzling hot but he said it didn't taste amazing. more to note no one pays attention to you so it took them a while to notice we wanted the bill and also they are making a lot of noise in this restaurant. So if you're looking for quiet place to have dinner I wouldn't recommend this one.
otherwise quite mediocre average Italian food on a cheap affordable price. I mean for 2 drinks one starter and 2 main dishes we paid...
