Two Cups 念念螺蛳粉 — Restaurant in Leiden

Recently I visited Two Cups. It was my first time coming to the place. I wanted to get my favorite choice the Brown sugar milk tea.

The price was 5.49 with and additional 0.50c to get a large which I did. The service was quick but the atmosphere in the place felt a bit too empty. You did had the option to change different sugar and ice levels which is always nice to have. I do think she used milk powder instead of actual milk since it didn’t tasted fresh. The tapioca were nice and chewy but didn’t taste like anything unfortunate.

I think this place isn’t the right place to get a Brown sugar milk tea. I think there are better options in Leiden for this choice.

Me and my friend waited for literally 45 minutes to get our bubble tea. There was only one staff member working at the counter and she had to make all the bubble tea's from previous customers too. One customer even requested a refund and cancellation because it took so long. I wish I had done the same and gone to another place to get my beverage faster and put less pressure on the poor staff, but the moment I got up my drink was done. The drink it self was mediocre, not good not bad. Please don't let your staff work all by themselfs and prevent them from overworking and frustrating the customers for waiting...

Best bubble tea in Leiden! There are enough choices for flavors and toppings. Top recommendations are Thai Milk Tea (without taste of powder which transcends most of bubble tea I have tried in Den Haag and Amsterdam), Oolong milk tea with coco's jelly and Matcha milk tea with red beans. Coffee pudding is also the special offer here. I hardly drink an Asian-favored in the Netherlands, but here is no doubt deserved...
