We visited Corner Bakery Maastricht and ordered the American pancakes, French toast, and hot chocolate. While the pancakes and French toast tasted great and were beautifully presented, the hot chocolate was simply warmed-up cocoa, which was a bit disappointing.

The café’s ambiance is lovely, with a cozy and stylish interior. However, the table settings were a bit confusing. While the breakfast beer menus were already on the tables, we had to wait for someone to bring us the café menu after we sat down. It would be more convenient if the café menu was also readily available on each table.

A unique feature of Corner Bakery is the open kitchen, allowing guests to see the preparation process—a nice touch for those who care about cleanliness. The staff, mostly friendly and energetic teens, made the experience warm and welcoming. It seems the café’s popularity has surged, likely due to a viral TikTok video, attracting a young crowd, especially teens.

Fantastic place where you can sit to eat fresh food and to enjoy the marvelous atmosphere this place has. Located in the heart of this great city (Maastricht) with a fantastic view. You can sit outside and contemplate the square or even inside and enjoy the decoration it has. The is really friendly and it amazed me the great attitude towards the clients they have. They are always with a smile asking you if everything is ok or if you need anything else. Besides that they treat each other with respect and all of them are really enthusiastic. I ordered "Corner Burger" (I'm attaching the picture) 0and it was delicious. While sitting there I observed that there were also great milkshakes and ice creams... oh my gosh... they looked amazing, next time I'm there I will give them a try. So if you are in Maastricht or even in Amsterdam you should pass by and try all the delicious things they have. The price is excellent and then again the sphere and decoration really worth it. 💪🏻👏🏻....

I was there on sunday (10/11) and ordered a gluten free sandwich roll. After I ate half of my sandwich (+- 15' after) the waitress came to tell me that my bread was "the normal bread" and not the gluten free bread. The reason for this mistake : "Sorry but it is a busy day!!" I explained to her that I am intolerant and that I will have stomach problems but it's like she didn't understand (or care) how big that mistake was. On monday morning I directly wrote an email to draw attention to that incident in case the waitress didn't tell anyone, but I never got an answer. Really unprofessional and of course, another person with an allergy could have been in the hospital because of their fault.... SO, yes they have gluten free stuff but NO, you will not be a 100% sure that it really is gluten free... really disappointed and shocked by how they/her handled this situation.
