MC Roast — Restaurant in Ōtara-Papatoetoe

Frist of all I received this meal cold!! I ordered a large pork roast meal last night for dinner the service was shocking I asked for no mixed veg as I won’t eat it he said no it comes with it every other roast placs I have been to you get it how you want it right your paying for !! My meal was half full fkn shocking I didn’t look at it untill I got home ( I was in a rush) the potatoes were so hard not even edible they were gross we meat was dry and the crackling was soft looking like a peal ik not sure if this place is under new people or not but this was disgusting I suggest to not go here anymore...

I have been a loyal customer of this shop for over 10 years, but I’ve decided not to return anymore. The lady served me 6–7 small, dry pieces of pork for my large pork meal, and they were no bigger than what other roast shops give for a regular-sized meal. Over the years, I’ve noticed the portions getting smaller and smaller, and this time was the last straw. It’s disappointing and feels very greedy to advertise a “big meal” but serve something so small that it still...

We had two plates there, the roast lamb and roast pork. Both of them were really tasty. Plenty of meat and the gravy was excellent. Added with the mint sauce on the lamb, the roast potatoes, veggies and kumara, overall this was a very nice meal. Just the right amount of food too. Service was very pleasant, as the lady serving was friendly and smiley. Will definitely be back there for sure. Parking was easy as there is plenty around...
