Really good food. Unfortunately the bottomless brunch is simply ✨false advertising✨ Bottomless brunch (anywhere else) is a set price event where alcohol is unlimited for two hours. For fiddlesticks, you are limited to 14 drinks.
we waited 15 minutes to receive our first drink, drank and asked for another when they advised us it was limited and there was also a period of time you have to wait from being served a drink before we could receive another. Friend suggested we go somewhere else. The guy said our time had already started, insinuating we would still have to pay.
The problem isn’t the 14 drink restriction. It is that in our first hour and 20 minutes we had only received 4 small mimosas. Which was mostly pulp anyway. No food or snacks yet. Another group left after the discovery of the restriction. We should have too.
When we went to the bathroom there were two staff standing talking on the outside of the bar while wiping down trays. it was 1.5 hours of us watching what felt like intentional slow service to save the amount of alcohol going out.
After letting them know, all Lauren had to say was basically “Sorry but were understaffed and because there were lots of mistakes and spillages being made it effected your service. There’s no excuse for it but We hope to welcome you back in the future” 🙄
You’re better off going anywhere else. Places like botanic will either give you big jugs or whole bottles and food is there to be enjoyed. What you pay for and what you actually receive is not compromised then justified with poor...
Read moreOct 2019 - Definitely recommend to try the BBQ Lamb Sandwich (charcoal bun, cos, beetroot relish, cheese and fries). Very delicious 😋🍟🧀🐑
This dish goes well a pint of cold beer 🍻🍺.
I've been there many times and each time I had different dish (look at photos that I've taken 😁, isn't delicious).
Anyway, the interior layout is well set up with normal dining seating and bar tables with high chairs. The place is well lit during the day and this place has a relax vibe.
Overall, it was a good experience from this restaurant.
Good portion sizes.
This is a child-friendly restaurant.
This is a licensed (🍻🍸🍷🍾🍹🍺) eatery and not a BYO. There is a very limited outdoor seating.
Off street parking 🅿 only.
They accept cash and EFTPOS including credit card payments (Paywave payments are available, for those who want to know). You can even split the bill evenly or only pay for what you ordered.
Would I go back? Yes 😀. Well worth a try and you will not be disappointed. Food: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. It was yummy 😋. Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Relax and cosy. Price: ⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Reasonable pricing. Customer service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ out of 5. Friendly staff. I didn't make any reservations. We were lucky to get a table for a large group of 10. I strongly recommend that you make a reservation as to avoid any...
Read moreOne of the worst meals I've ever eaten. We started with the fried chicken appetizer and it was so dry that the only thing that made it edible was the sauce it came with. Next we ordered the feast, and it included a salad, lamb, roasted onions, peas, stuffed mushrooms, and two sides that included duck fat potatoes, and another salad. The lamb was cold and flavorless. It seemed like the chef had no idea how to cook lamb. Both salads were boring and also flavorless, but the most memorable dish was the potatoes. The duck fat potatoes were the hardest, most dry dish of potatoes I have ever seen in my life. The were impossible to chew because they were rock solid. How on earth do you mess up potatoes?? They're the world's easiest food to cook. The portions were tiny for the supposed "feast" title. We both left so hungry, and had to order pizza later that evening to make up for it. I want to point out that before we got our food, the couple sitting next to us complained about their meal, so it wasn't just a matter of our taste buds. I will say that the waiter was very nice and the service was good, but I went for the food and the high ratings I saw on Google. It was also $95, including a drink each, and did not include dessert. So...
