We ordered from UberEats the following:
-Yakiniku Don -Garlic Beef Don -Chicken Katsu Don -Tonkatsu Ramen (2)
We waited for one hour and was informed by the restaurant that we (customer) cancelled the order. We got upset as we are all very hungry. We went to the restaurant to try to resolve the issue as we never cancelled any order. The front of the house is insistent that we cancelled the order and we kept of repeating that we did not, the manager is on a call with Uber and they were surprised when they were informed that we did not cancelled the order. So basically, none of this is our fault and we have the right to be upset. The restaurant manager kept on informing us that is not their fault and no apologies from their end.
I was informed by Uber that I can take the food but the Manager refused. I told them "Ok" I will pay for it and they changed their statement that nope you still can't take the food as it is no longer good. I was like, what is the resolution? The manager said you need to order and I was like, that is my order and he repeat himself again you need to order.
I left the store very upset as the Manager is very rude even I told them that all of us are hungry we ordered the food at 1:00 ish and 2:30 PM ish we don't have the food yet. They refused to resolve the situation. Yes we are upset but we have the right to be upset as we are not feeling well, and we need food to take medicines. We will no longer go back here and we will never recommend this to any...
Read more20 October 2017: Had dinner tonight with family. Ordered 6 pieces of prawn twisters, a soy flavoured (Shio) ramen with 6 gyōza, dumpling curry and Japanese BBQ Pork Don. Each prawn twister has a prawn inside, but lack of flavour. The Shio ramen is definitely better taste than last time, more flavour and I could taste the shiitake mushroom combined with soy sauce. The ramen dish tasted better (flavour) and enjoyable. Gyōza (pan fried dumplings) is also a good side dish to go with the ramen. The dumpling curry is not spicy and is quite unique way of eating. The BBQ pork don is a must try dish. Strong bbq flavour coated with soya sauce.
Would I go back? Possibly if they continue to improve the taste of the food.
12 April 2017: Place: Small but cosy. Free flow of miso soup (self-service). The ginger pork don was fantastic; gingery flavoured pork slices with fresh salad. Shio Ramen was average, nothing spectacular. The soup is not salty enough and comes with only two pork slices with some seaweed.
Would I go...
Read moreBeen here a few times with average dining experiences (3 star worthy, nothing to phone home about). However, this time my partner ordered a Mapo Ramen and it was very salty. Had to ask for hot water to dilute it. I gave it a taste and it was still salty, I could imagine it originally being saltier as I am in writing this review. As we settled the bill we didn't get asked how our dinner was, so my partner volunteered feedback that it was very salty. To the waiter's surprise, he replied that usually customers say it wasn't salty enough and that different people have different tastes. Sorry mate, but I have a dull sense of smell and taste, and even my lips were shrivelling from all the moisture being sucked out of my face. Disappointed in the lack of care or hospitality. Never coming back. Good thing for me, as the price does not justify the portion or quality of the...
