Katsubi Takapuna — Restaurant in Devonport-Takapuna

I eat at Katsubi everyday in whatever suburb I am in that day. When I choose my salad I always ask for everything except jalapeño and seaweed. This makes it easier for all involved. I know that mixed seeds and dried shallots is part of that but the old Korean lady forgot to add it. After I realized she had forgotten to put them, I went to the counter and asked her to add them. She refused and said I need to pay extra. Obviously doesn't know her job . I looked on the website and showed her that it's included, she was rude and unhelpful and tried to argue with me. Her co worker mumbled something to her and she added them. Disgusting service. I had nothing against the other two staff so as I left I politely said thank you. The tall girl in the kitchen ignored me and looked out the window and and so did the short one at the front. The old one was not there anymore. Very rude service I will never go back to...

It used to be really good food and service, now is just average food and the girl behind the counter is always rude and in a bad mood, she sets bad atmosphere and she cant stand to be there you can tell, she also only served me 2 small pieces of broccoli, when i asked for me she got upset and started pulling faces and rolling her eyes, this is not the first time this hsve happened, prices of food have increased i get it but this specific katsubi has just gottan really bad probably since she is there to be honest, Shame thou the old staff were way more friendly and generous with the amount of food they...

As a vegetarian Katsubi is always a good alternative but not when it comes to the Takapuna Katsubi. Went there the other day and the staff was definitely over their jobs extremely unfriendly and rude. They haven’t had any Tofu left so I asked for it and I’ve just been told to grab any of the other meat that’s out. I understand that when you probably just get payed minimum wage that you don’t care that much about your job but at least be friendly… not coming...
