I have ordered me a meal at McDonald’s for lunch and I couldn’t help but notice that there is a manager Leslie that was working at 1:38 pm, she was talking disgustingly to one of the workers in front counter (She's usually the lady who cleans or tells people to park) the manager was swearing at her because I told the worker I cannot park because there was a Ute blocking us from getting through, the manager proceeded to swear at the Maori lady, she wasn't even talking back and the manager was still swearing and yelling at her!! this lady needs to be reviewed please because when I was witnessing this, her yelling and swearing at the Maori lady, the other workers were simply ignoring it, like is it that a normal thing for Akoranga maccas workers to tolerate bullying??? the lady has no right to talk to anyone like that. Her name is Leslie (because I asked the lovely Maori lady who advised me to park what's her name) Leslie is a manager and I’m truly disappointed in her professionalism and how she was treating the Maori woman! I know the worker maybe slow but that doesn't give Leslie anymore rights to talk down on her. That Leslie lady needs to get her anger sorted and needs to learn she can’t swear while working and at least have some respect, I know the owner of that store and I know he wont like anything like this, fix this, that's just disrespectful in so many ways, I would have not handled it, if I was working there and getting sworn at, I would have knocked her out. She should be stepped down or at least apologise to the Maori women, it wasn't her fault I said No to parking. IM WANTING THAT TO CHANGE AND I HOPE YOUS APPROACH HER "LESLIE" ABOUT THIS, HOW CAN SHE GETAWAY WITH TALKING TO SOMEONE LIKE THAT!!! Its now the 25/01/2022 and Im requesting for a follow up which it has not been, useless. I made this post on the 04/01/2022 it's now 02/03/22 and there has still been no update as I also emailed through to them....

The Golden Arches Gleam The siren call of fries, a golden haze, McDonald's beckons, in a dizzying maze. Of plastic trays and burgers piled so high, A symphony of grease, beneath a neon sky. The counter gleams, a stainless steel delight, Where orders fly, both morning, noon, and night. "Big Mac, please," the weary voice entreats, While dreams of nuggets, dance within their seats. The kitchen hums, a frenetic, oily scene, Where patties sizzle, golden brown and keen. The fryer roars, a bubbling, golden tide, As crispy fries, within its depths reside. The drinks machine, a fountain of delight, Coca-Cola's fizz, a sparkling, bubbly sight. And milkshakes swirl, in flavors rich and bold, A creamy treat, a story to be told. The playplace roars, with laughter, shouts, and glee, A plastic jungle, for the young and free. The slides and swings, a vibrant, happy scene, Where childhood dreams, forever intertwined. The drive-thru winds, a serpentine embrace, A steady stream of cars, in this hurried race. The speaker crackles, with orders swift and clear, As windows roll down, and burgers disappear. The golden arches, a beacon in the night, A symbol of comfort, a familiar sight. A fleeting moment, of joy and simple bliss, The McDonald's magic, a fleeting, sweet kiss. Note: This poem aims to capture the essence of the McDonald's experience – the sights, sounds, and flavors that make it a unique and enduring part of...
Read moreMy original review would have been a 1 star but I was contacted by the company which has brought my rating up to a generous 3. Waiting in drive through for 30mins and no apology this upset me so I asked for a free cheese burger. Yes mc Donald's is hiring and under staffed, students stressed and called in sick etc but an appology was all it needed to be at the first window. No excuses needed. I also work in hospitality and have had $$$ walk outs after eating and not paying due to long waits. I did not realise that this was a small company so asking for a cheese burger for the wait seemed reasonable in my eyes better than refusing to pay for my meal. Any way was not happy with the manager who needed to learn to stay calm in these situations. Ok you don't have time for a quick chat but really that's what you needed to do to keep yours customers happy and advised of the situation at hand. Apparently there was an event on I did not no about this, so this is understandable now. Also did not realise this isn't 24/7 store closing at 12am. Was in line before 12am though. Have written this review as I still felt treated badly and like I was the bad guy and will not return to this store. I hope maybe some stress management/people skills courses for managers maybe a good...
