I can't ask for anything more than a Congratulations. What an amazing effort to make service food products available at a high speed with low quality processed foods at its finest, but hey im more than happy with the great operation service.
It was a quick drive through experience for myself, with the two lane service and alot of customers anxious of waiting for a long period in the cars. Great customer service too. Well done whangarei McDonald's you guys got the order right too with 8 different combos with five different flavors of drinks and having to add the mayo packets and also the toys that was also perfect for the kids. We will definitely come back and visit again when we all return one day in whangarei.
The last time i dined at the whangarei McDonald's with my kids was in 2017 and I was very pleased with there service then. Ordered off the electronic screen console which helped speed up the process and yes I was right. Order was ready in no time. I ordered the food in the drive trough for 6 people on the last window asked if this was everything and they replied yes. when getting home we where missing some of our order. I rang the manager and mentioned this, they said Its not their problem and if i want i can come get the food. I mentioned they said it was everything when i asked and this manager said "its not her problem and up to me if i come get it". When i got to the store i spoke with the manager again (Younge blond Lady) and she said the same thing. I said they could have offered a voucher or at least an apology for my time and gas to retrieve the food they forgot and told me was all there and she said its not their problem and too bad and that i could complain online and walked off. Very arrogant and rude no remorse and did not care at all, and then was joking with other staff about getting a bad review and laughing with out a care. Thankfully it seemed like one of the assistant managers was embarrassed by her actions, approached me and apologized Sincerely which i appreciated and thanked them. Read moreStaff wearing masks but manager not wearing mask. Observed her for 10 mins or so and the way she was speaking to her team was appalling! When I asked the girl serving us if the manager has to wear a mask or not, the girl looked genuinely scared as she double checked if the manager was listening or not before answering "we're all supposed to be" in a very timid voice. The maskless manager was also serving on the drive through, packing people's food for them which is appalling! She wiped her brow a few times and continued to work, touching peoples food items. Drive through are a good for those too at risk to want to go inside for a meal, however in this situation I feel the risk was too high!
Vaccinne passes were only being checked sometimes. One woman was requested to present hers and when she couldn't she was asked to leave, but then another woman came in, same question asked of her and her response was "I'm only using the toilet" and she was then allowed in! My unvaccinated, asthmatic children were in the toilets!
Inconsistent and not good enough in the midst of a pandemic, especially when there are people at risk trusting that somewhere like McD's will...
