St Pierres Sushi (Queenstown Remarkables) — Restaurant in Otago

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the staff here. While trying to take photos of the food to send to my sick partner at home so she could choose what she wanted the staff publicly told me in front of other customers that I wasn’t allowed to take photos. I was snapping the prepared food, not the staff, yet they still stopped me, even after I explained why I was doing it. They claimed it was 'policy,' but I’ve seen plenty of photos from other customers on Google, so their reasoning doesn’t make sense. I felt singled out and treated unfairly. Very dissatisfied with the way I was treated. I think there are better ways to explain a ‘policy’...

Decided to get sushi for dinner with some friends as there’s always lots of options especially as a vegetarian, however I would definitely not recommend as I’ve had food poisoning for 3 days now which I'm guessing is from the rice being left out for too long. Im really unhappy and disgusted and wish I had of been told that the rice has been out all day and can make you sick. Definitely don’t recommend, and won’t be getting...

Honestly one of the best and freshest sushi places I've been to & trust me, I've been to a lot worldwide! The chefs are authentic Japanese which is in my opinion, quite rare (most places I've been to are Korean or Chinese) so you know this place is the real deal. Prices & serving portions are quite reasonable. Honestly made my day when I discovered this little gem. Would definitely be back when I visit Queenstown...
