Zambrero Remarkables Park — Restaurant in South Island

Unfortunately this review is not pleasant and it isn’t even about the food the food is amazing however your team that was on tonight 23/1/2020 thoroughly messed up. As a paying customer getting food delivered you would except good service. I placed an order with and one item was missing off the order so I called the store to advise them. The sad part about this is the phone mannerism of the person (he refused to give his name after asking) was unprofessional not only did he repeat back to me incorrect details which was causing frustration about the missed item off the order he became annoyed that I asked for his name as I felt the manager of the store should know in how your paying customers are being spoken too it becomes VERY frustrating when your staff aren’t really listening to anything I was trying to explain. It gets to the point when I asked for the manager and all I hear is him saying “how do I hang up” me thinking ARE YOU SERIOUS he’s trying to hang up because I’m annoyed at him not actually listening to what I was trying to explain! Someone else comes on the phone same thing refusal of names I ask for the owner and managers name after several asks they finally say it’s Ash! Great thank you now my missing item of the order well guess what I now had to go collect it which I don’t believe I should not have had to do AFTER I paid for delivery! I end up going in and once again refusal of names so I take pictures so I can then advise the manager of whom I was dealing with and right after I walk out HE CHASES ME DOWN THE CARPARK TO TAKE MY PICTURE WHEN IF HE REALLY NEEDED MY DETAILS THEY ARE ON THE ORDER I PLACED! Not only do I find this absolutely disgusting he then yells at me down the car park TURN AROUND SHOW ME YOUR FACE at this point I’m calling the cops to which when I say if you don’t stop following me I will call the cops a bunch of people in the carpark caught the attention it was causing which is the reason he finally left me alone what a NIGHTMARE! This all could have been resolved had your staff done their job properly and actually even after missing the order and is trying to explain that on the phone - they could have dealt with rectifying the situation by actually LISTENING because of this experience it’s safe to say that Taco Medic will now be my go to Mexican place moving forward which is an absolutely shame as I enjoyed your food sadly not the service from these...

Had a couple of good experiences at Zambrero, however, it’s hit and miss. The burritos are getting smaller and smaller. They have small and large options but multiple times when ordering a classic large they fill it up to a small size and they still charge for a large. If you don’t fill it up to a large size, then don’t charge for a large. The sizes are clearly shown on the counter.

We had 2 burritos for $27 but had to go get more food.
