Take out luxury, New Zealand, fall off the bone, local Lamb. We ordered around 2 pm for a scheduled pickup at 7 pm. Pedro had it ready for us. Beautifully packaged in their signature box with disposable silverware and napkins. We took it to the park and dined quietly with the birds as the waves lapped at the lake shore for ambiance. We got the lamb shoulder with potatoes for two, 2 of the coleslaw and bread. The portion sizes were perfect. The colors were beautiful. The vegetables in the coleslaw were cut up and layered beautifully. I could go there just for that coleslaw alone. It was so good. I love the roasted red peppers on top and the sliced almonds. The lamb was out of this world. The potatoes were cut into rounds and cooked to the perfect texture. The sauce was so savory you just knew you were eating the best quality meat. We had a little leftover for a midnight snack. This meal is exactly what the doctor ordered. After driving through New Zealand and seeing all the lambs and all the cows, it was awesome to enjoy lamb from Pedro‘s house of lamb! Go try...

Parking was easy, there's a little turn off from the main street. We didn't order in advance, just walked in (Sunday evening). Staff were great people. Served us up in a couple of minutes.
The serving size is massive. Someone needs to post a photo with a ruler / yard stick / banana for scale.
The Spanish coleslaw was decent, but necessary to add some lightness to the meal. We didn't get the bread - had a tonne left over from Pak n Save. Served the same purposes... not wasting a thing.
The local bottle shop was closed, so we drove up the road and over the Shotover Bridge to the Canyon Brewery. No bottled/canned beer for sale, but you can buy a take away (plastic) 1.25 litre growler for 15 NZD. Great selection of locally brewed beers. Had the Pale...
