I did the Ledge bungy almost 3 weeks ago now. I found the staff quite unfriendly compared to other adrenaline attractions in New Zealand (the staff at Shotover Canyon Swing are amazing), as others have said they rush you through, plaster your weight in bright red marker on your hand, and there is no chatting or banter at all. I did this bungy on my own (not with my friends) so it felt even more awkward.
Please be careful on this bungy - I got massive WHIPLASH. I was not warned about this or advised on how to brace myself (I just ran and jumped straight forward). Because the rope comes from your waist and not your feet, you bounce on your back, and my head whipped backwards so hard :( When they pulled me up I mentioned I had hurt my neck and they did not care at all, as I had signed my life away. I wish I had paid the extra money to do the Nevis (my friends had a good experience at that one)

The staff made us feel really comfortable, they were super enthusiastic and encouraging. There's a little gate there to block you while they hook up the wires and I nearly walked through it without thinking but they're so strict about your safety so that's another win. We purchased the digital video and photos as well. It seems overpriced at the time but considering how many people we've shown and the overall experience I think its totally worth it. Also our tickets were bought off of bookme so it was a little bit cheaper but for sure would do this again and have been recommending it ever since! Thanks to the team that were working on Friday 11th June. You guys...

Once weighed in, we are boarded onto a mini bus and taken out to the bungy and swing location, about 40 mins out of town. You cannot get there via your own transport.
The swing was amazing, I could not have been any more nervous before swinging out, but the staff were so reassuring and made you feel at ease as best the could. The free fall then calmness of the swing was an experience to remember.
I was so impressed with the production quality of the video footage and the photos, that I bought the bundle (which can come on USB, USB3way, and USB5way [phone port plug ins], or DVD).
The bus then takes you back into town, making the total time...
