I never regret my visits to this cozy and unassuming coffee nook, with consistently rockstar coffee, a wide array of sensational cabinet food, and incredibly warm and hospitable owners! Better Me always feels both unpretentious and very special, like I’ve stumbled across central Auckland’s best kept coffee secret. While I’d love to keep their coconut mocha (heavenly), matcha (divine), and Whittakers brownie (chunks!) to myself, I feel a moral imperative to spread the good word. I hope this place and the lovely people running it continue to thrive for many years...

Great coffee done constantly. I'm very picky about my medium flat white, extra hot and the team have done a great job. Owner operated cafe, so they care. I watched many regulars pop in while I sat outside, which to me is a sign of good quality and great service. They are very personable and have a positive vibe, I just love it. Talking to the owner/barista, he measured every shot, tuned his grinder and machine every time he ads fresh beans, which is the sign of a great barista.
