Moto Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Waitematā

Unfortunately a really bad experience :/ Ordered a takeaway to pick up at 7pm, got there at 7 and there was a huge line, with no one at the front to help. My sushi was ready and sitting there but there was no one to ask or get any help so I was just extremely confused and had no idea what do to. Ended up also getting charged nearly $30 instead of $23 because they hadn't updated their menu for months, that's a significant price difference. When I asked them about this they said "customers should know". I wouldn't care about a price difference it was a $1 or $2 but this was hefty

The best central sushi place! Happy to call it our go to local place, highly recommend!

All of the sushi we have had has been very fresh, especially salmon and tuna rolls. Portions are very generous and great value in terms of price and size.

Waiter is friendly and efficient and the chefs are always welcoming. Nice relaxed atmosphere that can have a nice bustle vibes when busy, always great.

My partner and I visited on a whim and we are so glad we did! The service was very friendly and prompt, and the food came really quickly too. My partner ordered the teriyaki tofu and it was displayed beautifully, and I ordered the teriyaki tofu donburi bowl. He said it was the best tofu he has ever had, and I feel the same, it was ammaazzing. The flavours were great and food was fresh. You’re given complimentary miso soup which is a bonus too!
