ASC Salon — Local services in Waitematā

My experience at ASC was very disappointing. I had felt confident and excited about going to the salon as 2 work colleagues had referred me there and their hair always looks great. However the colour was awful. I had asked for my original darker colour with some highlights to give a "lift" and some texture. I came away with a full head of highlights and my hair was yellow! When I raised how unhappy I was it was suggested that I come back 2 days later and they would try to solve the issue for me. I did this, enduring 2 days at work with the strangest har colour, but my hair is now very flat and dull. Andrea suggested I come back for a 3rd time so that the colour could be rectified again. However, I have lost complete confidence in going to ASC and feel that i requiring a 3rd opportunity to give me a straight forward colour treatment is excessive. I am not a complainer but this has been the worst experience I have had at a hair salon and feel it necessary to post a review. Sadly I won't be going...

I had an amazing experience getting my haircut here! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and offered a delicious cup of coffee and some amazing fudge. The ambiance of the salon is truly outstanding, with stunning views and great music that added to the relaxing vibe.

The staff were all incredibly friendly, making me feel right at home. The atmosphere was so relaxed, which really put me at ease. Yama, the stylist, was extremely detailed in her explanations of each step and took the time to truly listen to my needs, ensuring she understood exactly what I wanted. We had a thorough consultation before starting, which made me feel confident in her abilities.

The teamwork among the staff was also impeccable, making the entire process seamless. It was all very smooth and engaging. I loved my visit to ASC Salon. My hair is long and incredibly thick, and I hadn't been to a salon in months when I made my appointment with ASC. After letting my hair go for so long without any real tending, I felt super frustrated with it; my hair felt heavy and blah, and I was really hoping to liven it up with a good cut and some highlights.
