Worst service we received from them. More then 25 times we go there, we are Nikki's regular customer since 2015, but never ever get this type of service. Now days staff shortage is issu. But as hospo background person, I can say that was not busy as he shows like.
When I was asking for old staff, he answer me they are his staff. He is owner of the restaurant. But I haven't asked him who is the owner. He was showing so much attitude which not good looking. As a customer I was so much upset with his behavior and showing attitude as a owner.
Excuse Mr. Owner keep your owner attitude in your pocket. Do business with manner. Show respect with your customers. It's NZ its not Thailand or another Asian country.
I can say he is not a person should be in this customer service. Also, he werning us before serving my baby's food. He warned us don't make floor messy with rice. He warned us to take care baby's mess. Even though that time he haven't served the rice infront of baby.
I can say this place not a baby friendly anymore. Before no one, told us like this. Even though, he haven't served us water too. We have to asked for that. And we have to wait for that too long.
For food we gona miss nikkis Thai food. But for the service may be we not gona go back there again.

He got offended when I asked for the menu instead of getting his suggestion!! He changed the cocktail drink fm strawberry daiquiri to margarita with his own choice after 30 mts when just asked to add more water. He asked another lady on the table to say please half way into her sentence when she requested a repeat on her drink. When asked if a particular sizzler dish would be very sweet he snapped and said you would know if you have eaten here before and I was the first timer there and even if I wasn’t I may have not tried that dish on the menu earlier. When approached by another friend to discuss the issue first he refused to talk about it and said he is not interested in hearing and when the lady walked upto him to express he said he was offended as he didn’t like the tone when he was asked for the menu instead of hearing his suggestions. Either we were in the wrong place feeling insulted or he is in the wrong profession. He was far fm the apology for any of his behaviour & didn’t care two hoots. It’s was a horrible experience & I don’t think with so many incidents in one night we could give him any benefit of doubt. Read moreVery poor Service, we were welcomed or rather unwelcomed very poorly. We tried to ask for a waiter to take our order but the person that appears to be the owner ignored us even after calling him 3 times.
We ordered a Chicken Satay entree, tom yum soup, sizzling beef, green chicken curry, chicken cashew, masaman lamb.
He didnt apologise for keeping us waiting 20 minutes to take our order.
Entrees and soup were quick, mains took about 10 mins more although we asked for all food at the same time.
Funny enough they expect you to eat the entre and main in same dish, only after i made a request 2 times was my dirty dish from satay chicken changed.
The green curry was the wrong consistency, it was too watery.
Masaman curry had no potatoes.
Sizzling beef tasted good but lacked the sizzling.
Chicken cashew was the best dish of the night.
On our way out we tried to tell the owner about the quality of green curry, the owners said "for gods sake" I have other customers.
So all in all bad experience.
