Thai Time — Restaurant in Waitematā

At first, I thought this Thai takeaway is still around because they were good. But NO, I was wrong, I think the reason why they're still around is because they're a rip off. I ordered this chicken soup for $17 (though online it shows $15.90) and was expecting that it would be at least somewhat good. I was so shocked with the amount of chicken — 9 thinly sliced chicken and the size was just as big as half of my thumb. I understand that sustaining a business with all the inflation and economic issue is hard, that most of the places have had increased their prices to compensate. But man if you will put up your prices at least have the dignity to higher your food standards if not maintaining it. This is a place that I will never ever recommend to anyone because aside from the price point the flavour of the food wasn't even that good either. I literally had to put too much sauce in every bite just for it to have a taste. I would give them negative 5 stars on this...

I have been here twice recently and I have really enjoyed it. The first time I got a Thai beef salad (take away)and it was really yum, my only comment would be that this is a dish that is served hot which I wasn’t expecting as I have had cold Thai salads in the past, this is just my experience and not something I have personally come across but it was flavourful and delicious and I would order it again - more of a stir fry with rice in my opinion.

The chicken drunken noodles are great, so flavourful and the portion size was spot on. The restaurant is located in a small food court and it was a nice spot to sit quietly for a break away...

Thai Time in Auckland delivers a truly delightful experience! 😋 I tried their pad Thai 🍜, which was flavorful, well-seasoned, and came with fresh vegetables 🥕🥬 that added a nice crunch. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the portion size was just right. Paired with an ice-cold Coke 🥤, it made for a satisfying meal.
