We went there for a small birthday party, so we needed to reserve seats. First, ambience: it was nice and low-lit. However, it's not quiet. We went on a Wednesday night and yet, everywhere was full. There was laughter and people were enjoying themselves. There is loud music, you have to speak over yourselves...but it's okay if you are sitting close to each other. There was also a bachelorette party in the chapter lounge next door, and you could hear them. Second, service: Poor. They had too little wait staff and they seemed stressed. I wonder how it'd be on weekends. They tried their best but food came hours late and so did drinks. Nearly perished during my wait for nourishment. So, carry a candy bar or something. Third, food: I ordered a lamb Korma and rice, which tasted like rice and stew (albeit with a little bitter aftertaste). The lamb was cooked to perfection though, and I didn't have to struggle with it. My date ordered the buttercream chicken, and they were not a fan at all. I ordered a coconut-themed cocktail, and it was heavenly! I loved the creamy, tropical taste. My food and that of my buttercream date (drinks inclusive), was around #36 thousand naira. Sorry for the bad photos. ☺️

So many restaurants in Lagos have the same bland, uninspired dishes. This is not one of them! Chapter is easily one of the best restaurants in Lagos. The creativity of the ingredients, the presentation, and the service were all fantastic. The drinks were wonderful. The decor was very nice. We left very full and very satisfied. The menu was super vegetarian friendly but will please the meat eaters in your party as well. It was kind of dead when we went (Thursday evening) but it definitely didn't deserve to be. I worry that the dishes are a little too unique...too creative to be very commercially successful here. I hope that's not the case because Lagos deserves great food like this. We'll be back again and again.

I hosted the most amazing bridal shower over the weekend at Chapter Lagos. The food in the package for the private room was delicious and was more than enough for our party of 9 with unlimited mocktails. The customer service was also exceptional from the initial consultation to the waiters who served us that day. They also took feedback well and quickly made the necessary adjustments to satisfy us. The supervisor of the establishment was also excellent and made sure we had a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Chapter Lagos

My friend and I recently visited Chapters for their unlimited cocktails, and we had such an amazing time! The drinks were served promptly, with each round following after we finished our previous one. We had up to eight cocktails, and they were all fantastic!

A special shout-out to our server, Mr. Evans, who was absolutely amazing! He kept up the vibes, ensuring our cocktails were served quickly and that we had a great time. Another big shout-out to Mrs. Winfred, who was so diligent in her work, making sure everything was running smoothly. Both of them really made our experience even more enjoyable.

The environment was chill with good music, setting the perfect mood for a fun evening out. The only downside was that they had dimmed the lights, which made it a bit challenging to take pictures. Normally, Chapters isn’t like that, but it was still an incredible experience overall.

We also ordered lamb chops, tacos, fried rice, and naan bread with sauce. While I didn’t quite get the naan combination, the food was still decent. The lamb chops were especially tasty.

All in all, Chapters is a really nice place if you’re looking for great cocktails, good vibes, and exceptional service....

My friends and I went to Chapter around 9 pm on 14th December. The manager was nice and accommodating, we got seated after 5mins of waiting. The waiter that took our order was good and had knowledge of the menu. our food arrived 30mins later and while eating, one of my friends found part of an iron sponge in her lemongrass rice. We were taken aback, not only by the carelessness of whoever washed and dished the rice but by the fact that it may have been a major health hazard. The person in charge apologized profusely, we felt more care should be taken when preparing and serving food that customers pay for and expect a certain quality. The food was nice. The music was also too loud and we had to keep shouting over each other to have a...
