Banh Mi XO — Restaurant in Oslo

Amazing !! I've never eaten Banh Mis before so I can't really compare but god, it's my 3rd from them in 3 weeks and I can't get over it. I took the Banh Mi Sharsu 3 times and it's so good, they serve you in literally 1min, the pork is so tender and soaked in the marinated juice, the carrot pickles are bomb and as a french person the baguette is very correct ! The staff is super nice, you can easily explain if you don't want something in particular in it, and they also ask you if you want it spicy or not. For 120nok it's sooo worth it! The presentation was really uninviting, NO ( never ) put salad in Pho- please do not ruin it. • The taste was just like plain noodle and broth with some meat - not what I expected from Pho. I really enjoyed my banh mi. Great lunch on the run.

The bread was crispy and soft, not as cheap as at other banh mi places in the city. Loads of fresh vegetables as well. Went for, on recommendation from the staff, a house special with pork and Vietnamese ham. It was indeed a good recommendation.

At 155nok it comes in at more expensive than my other favourite banh mis in the city, but I guess it’s fine to treat yourself a bit extra sometimes. They do really fill their sandwiches to the brim.
