We visited at the end of April and found the place really beautiful, with a slightly fancy atmosphere and lovely interiors. We were a large group, and unfortunately, the service was a bit of a mess that evening. Our waiter was professional and clearly knowledgeable—especially about wine, which makes me think he may have been more of a sommelier than a server—but he seemed to be having a bad day. Orders got mixed up several times, including serving the wrong dishes to people with allergies, and the presentation of some plates felt a bit questionable. On the positive side, the food was good. The highlight for me was the avocado ball with hamachi tartar, which was excellent. The rest was fine, though I found the main dish of the tasting menu (fried chicken) a little underwhelming. Overall, it was still a good experience. The setting and certain dishes stood out, but the service issues held it back from being great. Hopefully, it was just an off day.

An extremely cool and sleek location and don't let the name food you, the food here is AWESOME! It has Israeli/Mediterranean flavors to the food and they really knock it out of the park. The sauces on the food are just so delicious and the servings were quite hearty even though they may seem like they would be less filling. The wine list is expansive and super interesting. The servers also do a great job of leading you to greatchoices for what you would want. This place is truly, truly fantastic. They have an indoor and outdoor section. During the day it is a coffee shop in the front. Also this whole corner of the street is owned by one company so the associated restaurants and rooftop bar is supposed to be super cool and high end. They are building the biggest cellar of wine in Norway. Also the location being on the edge of the castle grounds is very peaceful. The freeze-dried tomato was SO good.

Found this place through instagram and decides to try it’s breakfast, the pastries were so good we came two days in a row, tried the filho dough pastry with cheese amd sundried tomatoes, cinnamon buns, mahlabi croissant and a macadamia, cashews and white chocolate cookie, and the second time we went for gorgonzola arugula & plum croissant, and mushroom toast with spicy tomato pesto and pistachios, everything was really good but specially the pastries alone, id go for the 1st day order over and over. Service was really good, friendly and kind, the place is neat and with a chilled formal flow, overall a really really good experience (breakfast wise, didn’t have the opportunity to try the bar menu)
