Review of the Menu at The Tree Nonner 🌟
The menu at The Tree Nonner is a masterful fusion of Nordic nature, culinary innovation, and heartfelt storytelling. Each dish is crafted with precision, reflecting not only deep respect for local ingredients but also a bold, creative vision that dares to reimagine traditional flavors in an elegant, modern form.
From the earthy tones of the Forest Burger to the refined umami of the Wanderer of the North, every bite is a journey through taste, texture, and soul. The inclusion of seasonal, wild, and fermented elements gives the menu an authenticity that is both rooted and refreshing.
The kitchen crew and service at The Tree Nonner is absolutely fantastic – a tight-knit team of passionate professionals who put love, soul, and sharp culinary skill into every plate. Their attention to detail, consistency, and creativity shines through each dish that leaves the pass.
This is not just dining – it is an experience of nature, spirit, and modern craftsmanship. Highly recommended for food lovers, dreamers, and anyone seeking a deeper, more meaningful connection to what’s on...
Read moreA TRULY AMAZING AND JOYFUL EXPERIENCE ❤️ We started the evening by exploring the hotel´s excellent spa and hot pool, where Rune Thyholdt was the perfect host serving delicious bubbles prior to our dinner. The Restaurant provided an absolutely wonderful evening in every possible way. Pedro, our excellent Portuguese waiter and headmaster, was highly knowledgeable and gave us the best recommendations regarding food and wine. We won´t forget the marinated salmon accompanied by an excellent Vino Verde made from the Alvarinho grape. This wine also matched the Red Fish perfectly. As a finale we couldn´t resist the Rhubarb Panacotta with Sea Buckthorn Puree and a brilliant Port.
We are already looking forward to the next opportunity. By this - our warmest and most sincere recommendation to...

And not even once was I asked if I wanted more to drink even though I finished my drink after 15 minutes. And of the three main dishes they had on the menu, the waitress said we really should not order one of them because it was not very good. Why do they then have it on the menu? Then we could effectively only order two...
