McDonald’s Tromsø — Restaurant in Tromsø

They forgot my order and the toilet is horribly dirty, no soap and so gross.

Almost half of the menu was unavailable when I went, everything that was a little different or exciting like sweet potato fries or macarons or spicy wings. The remaining selection is what you could get at any McDonald’s so it was a bit disappointing.

I also waited over 40 minutes for food and it’s probably the longest I’ve ever waited for McDonald’s. One meal and a burger came to over 300 krone but it’s expected to be more expensive. I just can’t believe how long the wait was for the food, I got table service but had to go up to the desk to check up on the order. Turns out it was never processed. They took my receipt and just told me to wait while they remade the food. However nuggets and fries were cold and there was a sauce missing.

The food didn’t come with my drink so I asked the server and turns out drinks you also have to collect separately at the cafe section which kinda defeats the purpose of table service. The staff at the counter also took my receipt and my drink order wasn’t in the cafe system anymore so it was also extra time wasted.

Overall a 40 minute wait for a burger and a meal was not worth it at all, especially having to chase after an order that I would have never gotten if I didn’t check up on. People who ordered afterwards also got...

I ordered Bicmac meal, with a double cheese. There was alot of customers there, the lobby was clean and looking good. When recieving the food, I was in a rush so i grabbed the bag and had to leave without minding to check the food. I trusted this business since they just opened not too long ago. After realizing the shape of the fastfood, It was instant regret. I hope someone from HR will bring up this issue with all the employees, because yea its busy. But its better that customers have to wait a little longer for fresh and tasty food, than waiting short time and recieve only waste. This is not only me, but I’m sure there is many who feel the same, but just don’t take the time to write review. Hope this review helps other potential customers to decide if they like wasted food. Came here to take away my early lunch at around 9am+. Just 2 sets of orders took more than 45mins to be ready. Only 3 staffs were working.

I discovered 1 thing that there was no hygiene guideline in Mc Donald's Tromso. The staff in the kitchen prepared burger did not wear hand gloves. He touched the burger with his hands. Oh my.

Usually staffs need to wear hand gloves when prepare food especially in the fast food chain. That's why I gave 1 star in service.

Another issue was preparation time took too long. In Malaysia, our order will be ready in 5 minutes. Not more than 10 minutes.

Lastly there was no free postcard. Previously you can request free postcard. Now you have to pay NOK10 for the postcard. Worse was the staff forgot to put in and I needed to walk back to claim...
