I recently had the pleasure of dining at Diamond Restaurant, and I must say, it was one of the best Asian food experiences I've ever had! From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the stage for a memorable meal.

The menu offered a wonderful variety of dishes, each bursting with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. I had the Mutton Karahi, and it was simply divine — the perfect blend of spices and freshness that made every bite enjoyable. My companions ordered a range of dishes, from Chicken Biryani. Lentil curry, and everyone was thoroughly impressed.

What truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional hospitality of the restaurant owner, Mr. Alam. He took the time to greet us personally and was genuinely interested in our dining experience. He offered excellent recommendations and shared insightful stories about the dishes and their origins. Such personal attention made us feel valued and added a special touch to our evening.

It was my first day in Baku, and my sisters and I were staying near Nizami Street. While searching for a currency exchange, we lost our way and noticed this restaurant with the name of Pakistan. Hoping for assistance from a fellow Pakistani, we had a misfortune of stepping inside to ask for directions. The woman running the restaurant inside was extremely shady. Although she claimed to be Pakistani, her demeanor and accent suggested otherwise. I have traveled extensively and can easily recognize fellow Pakistanis, and she clearly was not one. She tried to mislead us by claiming that all currency exchange offices were closed due to 9th Muharram, and also because it was the weekend. She then asked her son to arrange mannats for us in exchange for our US dollars, which felt like an outright scam attempt. We immediately declined and left the place. Later, we returned to our hotel and spoke with the receptionist, who directed us to a reliable exchange service right on Nizami Street that was open and operating normally. I strongly advise other travelers to be cautious if they come across this woman. The experience gave off a very negative vibe, and I am also reporting this incident on the AZ...

We recently dined at Pakistani Diamond Restaurant, and it was a gastronomic journey through the best of Pakistani cuisine!

We started with their famous Biryani, and this dish was an absolute star! The aromatic basmati rice mixed with tender pieces of chicken (or mutton) was cooked to perfection. Each grain of rice was flavorful, with just the right amount of spice to excite the palate. The portion was hearty and ideal for sharing.

To round off our meal, we couldn’t resist the Daal Chawal—a simple yet soulful combination of perfectly spiced lentils and fragrant rice. The Daal had a smooth, velvety texture and was packed with authentic flavors that made every bite comforting and satisfying. It was the ultimate comfort food that truly showcased the essence of Pakistani home-style cooking.

From start to finish, our experience at Pakistani Diamond Restaurant was outstanding. The service was prompt and attentive, and the ambiance made it feel like a home away from home.
