A tiny sushi bar which is magnificent in its sushi and drinks - artisanal beers and home-made kombucha! Great prices and portions big enough to fill you up. I had the Makimura - chef´s speciality and loved every bit of it; I swear I DID think of licking out the "secret salsa" of the plate but remembered my good manners in the end. Thanks to the place being designed as a sushi bar you get a chance to observe the preparation of your dish (including all the tricks with the flamboyant gun) while having a chat with the owner-chef and his assistant. A place of good vibes, you are sure to find your way back every now and then when getting the munchies.

I've been to 50 countries and thousands of restaurants. This is not to brag but to give you an idea of the comparison scale. This place is in the top 5%. Look no further if you seek a place to eat in this area. The place is a hole in the wall. It's tiny, with only two tables inside. The food is stellar: seviche, nigiri, garlic trout (I even ate garlic!), and a Makimura roll. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommend. I'm very skeptical about places with 4.9 stars on Google. This one deserves all 6*

Had the samurai roll and classic bowl. Absolutely delicious. If you go later in the evening, please have patience as the two taking care of everything does their best. The food is phenomenal and it’s a blast being able to see everything being prepared fresh. I forgot to take a picture of the roll because it looked so good, I couldn’t wait. If you want a larger portion, you’ll want to get two items. But definitely recommend if you want sushi in its prime fusion of local flavors and ingredients.

We came here with some friends we’d met on the Salkantay trek and the owner went out of his way to give us a wonderful evening. He thought it was my new friend’s birthday, and when she ordered a pisco sour, he gave her two! We also had really yummy spicy rolls which we had to order another portion of because they were so good. My friend had the maki acevichado and her partner had the veggie roll as he was a bit I’ll. They both really liked their dishes too! We had a great time here and we will definitely return (I’m actually writing this review in Sushimura on my second...

We didn’t actually get to eat here but we tried TWICE and were turned away both times. We were really looking forward to it and made the trip to this part of the city for this restaurant only to be disappointed both times. I’m writing a review to serve as a warning that if you try to come any time after 7pm, DONT BOTHER! You will be turned away even though their opening hours state they are open until 9:30pm. The first day we came at 8pm and they said they ran out of rice. The second day we came at 7:45pm and they said they ran out of food completely. We are sorely...
