First of all, the place is wrongly pointed on Google Maps. There's no number indicating this small restaurant. Look for a white wall with a handwritten menu board at the entrance before you reach n.325 (Casona Arrambide). They served you soup, a main and a tea - all for 6 soles. Don't expect anything fancy (and I wouldn't recommend using the toilet). If you are there with open mind, you will be rewarded with a simple, but nice food. I was really satisfied with what I got.

This place is local; simple; and delicious. No need to order; you get 3 things. A soup, a lemony cold beverage, and a choice of meat with rice and potatoes. You can choose between beef, chicken or pork. The whole meal is 6 sol. It’s delicious, well made, the main gentlemen is so nice. The place was packed and we sat in the back area. Highly recommend this place. Food is great; atmosphere is incredible. A true hole in the wall and I highly recommend it.

The set menu is 5 soles at the time of this review, they will serve you the soup and the tea of the day as soon as you sit down and then you can choose one of the main dishes for the day, the portion is very generous, the beef I had was quite salty but tasty. Mostly locals come to eat here but I think some tourists also came from watching Mark Weins’ YouTube video.

We wanted to eat where the locals eat and stumbled upon this amazing hole-in-the-wall. As soon as you walk in, you're given soup and tea. When you finish you have a choice of 3 dinners. If you come when it's busy, like we did seating is limited, so you might be sharing a table with other locals, but it makes the experience better. Everything was delicious, it's quick, and I can't believe it was only s/6!!! Google maps might bring you "nearby", so keep an eye out for the menu board outside the door and number 313 taped above the door. We loved...

This place is a “hole in the wall.” I stumbled upon it around six in the evening. It’s where the locals go to eat. The sign outside displayed a 6 Sol three course menu. That’s less than $2 for a 3 course meal which consists of a big bowl of soup, a hot flavored sweet tea and a choice of 3 entrees. I chose the chicken with rice. The restaurant is run by an elderly man and the food and service was very homely. It was tasty and very filling. The gentleman was very attentive. Try it out...
