We wanted to eat where the locals eat and stumbled upon this amazing hole-in-the-wall. As soon as you walk in, you're given soup and tea. When you finish you have a choice of 3 dinners. If you come when it's busy, like we did seating is limited, so you might be sharing a table with other locals, but it makes the experience better. Read moreThis place is a “hole in the wall.” I stumbled upon it around six in the evening. It’s where the locals go to eat. The sign outside displayed a 6 Sol three course menu. That’s less than $2 for a 3 course meal which consists of a big bowl of soup, a hot flavored sweet tea and a choice of 3 entrees. I chose the chicken with rice. Look for a white wall with a handwritten menu board at the entrance before you reach n.325 (Casona Arrambide). They served you soup, a main and a tea - all for 6 soles.
