We were craving for clay oven, wood fired pizzas in Cusco and stumbled into Sumaq (after other popular pizzerias had a long wait list) & then there was no looking back! We dined there twice in our few days at Cusco. The best part was sitting next to the clay oven on a cold evening which gave us warmth and getting free garlic bread :) Amazing service, pizzas and I believe the owner did it all. Very friendly and hospitable owner/operator. Amazing experience… I highly recommend this pizzeria.

I loved this place. Very good pizza, very good service and I just love the little space in the back that we had to ourselves. We had the Sumaq Pizza, Mixta, and vegetarian. My gf and I ordered 3 smalls and left with one whole pizza assembled from the three for leftovers. Complimentary garlic bread was a nice touch. And the price was great too.

It's not a fancy or an eye-catching place. But the wood fire pizza here is delicious. The garlic bread that comes free with the pizza is light and tasty. Certainly try a carry out, sitting is available on 2 Park style benches, which is not a bad experience, watching folks go down the steep hill.

Just got a pizza from this place yesterday after receiving a recommendation to do so. Wanted take away, contacted the restaurant via WhatsApp, got an immediate reply and my pizza was ready 20 mins later. I ordered the Mexicana, and it was absolutely delicious! They warned me it was spicy, and they did not lie! I've traveled all over the world and am a sucker for pizza, and I can honestly say this is one of the best I've had anywhere and definitely the best in Latin America. ...

Fantastic wood-fired pizza, well done. Came with free delivery, plates, delicious sauces, and garlic bread on their special promotion. Placed a large order at 8pm with all 12 pizzas and extras in hand by 9pm. Great service. Delivery was slightly late but anticipated with the large order on Christmas. Best pizza we’ve had in Peru and at an amazing price. Greatly satisfied Christmas dinner for a group of 20 hungry people. Looking forward...
