This was incredible!! We were a party of ten people traveling from United States and we had a blast. The service was so amazing, all of the staff, even though they were quite small, were so incredibly sweet and understanding to all of our food preferences, allergies, modifications, and more! They had people who spoke English perfectly and I, speak a little Spanish, so we were able to communicate greatly! Their menu was decently sized and had a Spanish side and English side. The atmosphere was pretty small compared to other restaurants we as tourists had been during our trip, but because of their amazing service, we were able to make it work and we had a blast playing uno (no mercy) while we waited for our food! And the food, finally the food. IT WAS AMAZING. This was genuinely the best food we had had our entire trip so far. To all 10 of us! The Pad Thai is absolutely incredible and the Poke Bowls too. The curry was also absolutely delicious. Everything we ordered was great. Their drinks too were awesome. They had a mix of sweet and sour, alcohol and nonalcoholic. With their diverse food and drink menu, filled with bowls, curries, cocktails, teas, and more, Teriyaki is definitely the place to go if you are looking for amazing food in Cusco! Thank you so much guys, it was a great night. (P.S. They had plenty of bottled water and vegetarian options if you are someone who is worried about those things!) 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Edit: The journey here and back to our hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) is definitely an adventure, with the entire town on a mountain, the incline is insane. If you are not into walking uphill a ton after eating, we highly recommend taking a car or taxi, or some better way of transportation. It is...
Read moreWe made a reservation for 8 people, and during the evening two more friends joined us, so our table became a group of 10. Despite the restaurant being almost empty — with only one other table of two people — it took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. The other table received their meals long before we did.
The food itself was delicious and our waitress was absolutely lovely. However, when we approached the owner to ask for some form of compensation for the long delay and the fact that we weren’t allowed to order additional dishes, we were met with a cold and dismissive attitude. We tried to explain our experience — that we had arrived hungry and waited far too long — but the owner showed no empathy and refused to communicate in English, insisting that “in Peru, we speak Spanish.”
I’ve never encountered such rude behavior from a restaurant owner. If you come here and something goes wrong, don’t expect understanding or warm service — and definitely don’t expect anyone to help...
Read moreI was really excited to receive my food but it took over an hour and a half to receive my dish, when we asked for compensation on it the owner snapped at us and told us that if we don’t speak Spanish then he can’t help us because we’re in Peru and that’s the official language. He even told me that he’s only had problems with people from my country. It hurt my feelings and left a bad feeling in my group as we felt unwelcome and wondered if perhaps his prejudice was the reason of our mistreatment :( Overall we just wanted to receive our food at a timely manner, that’s a legitimate want for a person from any country. There was a table that came after us and received food before us and even finished and left before we received our food. I will say that once I received my dish I thought it was delicious and that we were a group of 8 people. But when we did receive the food it was all at different times after all and I personally would not wait over an hour and a half just...
