Barra Botánica — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

Food was ok, nothing special to be honest Atmosphere with greens is amazing But the service upon paying was a joke and disaster, the waiter pressed the wrong button which resulted in a 10% higher bill as their bank and many banks , not only in Peru are scammers when it comes to conversion. But the lack of willingness to cancel the payment in Euro and do it again in Sol was very disappointing, they said they can’t , of course you can cancel a payment, but they didn’t want to I as an ethical entrepreneur left with a very bad feeling as I gave them 1,5$ tip on the bill , but the same waiter by pressing the foreign currency exchange gave €2 to the banks . The worst part was they refused to admit they charged me in euro ! Now I’m trying to make a chargeback but my bank asks for evidence why it was all Oral , that’s why I give the service a 1 . If you don’t take your responsibility is bad , than if you don’t want to correct it is even more bad .

While it’s not exactly a specialty coffee shop, I was pleasantly surprised to find they serve Chemex (even though it’s not on the menu) and offer a natural process coffee blend.
