LES GOURMANDS. Pastelería Francesa. — Restaurant in Lima Metropolitan Area

This place is over the top. The pastries are well prepared everytime I try a new one. For instance I tried one that looked like a strawberry it was delicious filled with light cream covered with delicious icing dyed with the various colors of a strawberry right down to the leaves.

The service is excellent you order at the counter and your treats are delivered to your table PROMPLY. The staff is friendly and well trained. The place is kept clean too including the restroom. Finally the establishment is pet friendly with a water dish for our furry friends.

Along the same lines with many other comments, desserts are dry, croissant dough isn't crunchy. In a french patisserie you must smell and taste butter of great quality, it wasn't the case here. Chocolate wasn't tasty pointing to low quality ingredients. Coffee isn't the right one in terms of acidity and atructure to make an espresso and the quantity in the cup was way too much. Soy cliente frecuente de Les Gourmands y normalmente compro en el local, pero ayer decidí pedir por delivery ya que no podía acercarme. Desde las 3 p.m. estuve en contacto con ustedes, pedí la lista de postres disponibles y confirmé que podía recibir el pedido a las 8 p.m.

A las 6 p.m. confirmé nuevamente que estaría en casa a esa hora, y cerca de las 7:20 p.m. conversamos sobre los productos disponibles. A las 7:55 confirmé mi pedido, pero desde ahí no recibí más respuesta. Estuve escribiendo varias veces y a las 9 p.m. me apareció que ya no podían responder.

Me parece una falta total de respeto que, habiendo estado en contacto desde tan temprano y habiendo confirmado todo con tiempo, simplemente me hayan dejado esperando sin dar ninguna respuesta, explicación ni disculpas. Es inaceptable que jueguen así con el tiempo de sus clientes, sobre todo con quienes siempre han confiado en su marca. Esta experiencia fue una completa decepción, y sinceramente me hace replantear si seguir comprando en Les Gourmands...
