Mama Lou’s Italian Kitchen - SM City Clark — Restaurant in Angeles

Service was better than our first dining experience but flies are still rampant. Have to shoo them away every now and then. The restaurant beside, which we frequent, does not have the same issue.

We tried ordering the best sellers but found our initial orders to be better. Soup is still great, though

Celebrated my wife's birthday here today. We were offered their card but declined.

The food was really good and Kem was really helpful. We enjoyed all that we ordered.

The concerns that we had were that there were a lot of bugs in our table. We had flies and crawling bugs that we had to shoo away frequently.

The staff could also be more attentive to the guests. We wanted to request a new glass because the one we had smelled funky but considering 4 tables were only occupied, other staff were just talking to themselves.

Lastly, we would appreciate it if we would not be rushed during our meal. We were celebrating an occasion that our server already knew about. When we were finished with our meal, another server asked us if he can remove the plates so there would be extra free space for us but as soon as the last plate were removed, the bill came. We did not ask for the bill. We were still enjoying our iced tea and would have wanted to try their tiramisu.

Tldr. Bugs all around. Food is good but service could improve. They rushed us out.

As guests, we felt like we were not that wanted here. Kem was really great, though, but I don't think we would come back.

Superb Dine-in Experience! Friendly Staff! We were greeted and ushered right away from the door to our choice of table. Their staff are readily available to take our order and to fill-up our water bottle without the need to raise your hand to ask for a refill. So we very much like the service! The Manager also went to our table and asked how we are. We feel very special! :)

The Food is very good! When we heard that Mama Lou's is now here in Pampanga and Bataan we were very excited! Since there is no longer a need for a long drive to Manila just to satisfy our cravings! Their Spinach Ravioli is one of our favorites but we decided not to order it this time. Since we wanted to try those we have not tried yet. So we ordered their must try's "Vesuvio Pasta" and "Bucatini Amatriciana Pasta" are now added to our list of favorites from Mama Lou's! Their "Mushroom Chicharon" is very good appetizer! Their "Buffalo Chicken Wings" are not only delicious but they are surprisingly huge in serving! It is also our first time to taste the "French Onion Soup" and we were surprised that it is good!

What can be improved? We just hope they add more signages or more visible ones.. since they are located behind an escalator wall from the parking area. :D

The last four pictures was our first dine at Mama Lou’s Clark. French onion soup was good, platter was okay too, pasta was something different but really loved the basil flavor. Pizza was not authentic Italian but its good too. However, yesterday we went back. We were quite disappointed. Look at the mushroom chicharon if you compare it to the one printed in the menu, the color should be lighter. We did not even finish it because frying method was so bad, when you take a bite, literally you will taste oil and mind you, this was already the second serving since my dad already complained about the burnt flavor. Steak was chewy and the sauce was cold - not recommended to order this. Seafood carbona was okay but I wouldn’t order it again. Place was so dirty. The tables (we wiped it and it was full of dust) and plates had food marks. However, staff was accommodating and friendly.
