My partner and I ordered a sharing plate and chili cheese fries (with the thought that the sharing plate would not be enough to fill us up. Spoiler, we were wrong)
The fries we cut into generous sizes, they feel more rustic than overprocessed, mainly due to the choice of leaving the skin on. At first, I was not able to taste the cheese sauce (I was just able to taste it later on, after eating other items, for some reason. It was okay). The chili is good too, it has a hint of taco seasoning and the spice kick was at the back of your throat than on your tongue.
Sharing Plate
The burrito was the best bit for me, very generous with all the components (you will have all from top until the last bite). Satisfied my Stuffd cravings.
The enchilada was very tasty with its stringy cheese and well seasoned chickened and the sauce on top.
This is a personal take, but I think the salsa dip and salsa on top on the lettuce salad was blended with cilantro or coriander, as I got that soapy/insect-y taste on my mouth (my genes' fault). Take note on people with the same situation as mine.
The rice, while we were expecting it to burst with flavor due to its color, was just some basic fried rice (acceptable considering the flavors of the other components of the plate). I thought we will need more rice to fill us up, but I forgot that the burrito got rice inside too 😅
After trying to finish our food for almost an hour (it was a lot), there was still the taco waiting for us to eat it. We got the beef variation and the meat was tasty. We asked for some white sauce but it did not matched my tastebuds. I suppose it was a garlic sauce but tasting it first was too garlicky for me. Nevertheless is blended well when I added it with out taco meat.
Had a great time eating in there, staff were really accomodating, pricing was right for the amount of food that we got. Air conditioning could be better, especially when you are eating...

Good: Carnitas - so simple, comforting. If you don't want to be bombarded with filipino flavor stick with this. Al Pastor - mildly filipino take on a classic flavor. Good with a slight lean. Churros & Horchata
Bad: Calamansi instead of lime. At this level, they should be offering small lime wedges. The flavor profiles are totally different. Cheapens. Carne Asada - oh no. Here's where that gentle filipino touch became a filipino suckerpunch. Comboed with the calamansi they just served bistek in a tortilla. Gross dude. No. Camerones - Same issue as the bistek but instead they smothered it in cheap mayo goop. If you closed your eyes you probably couldn't tell what this was. Just mayo slaw. Rip shrimpies.
This place is old enough to know what its strengths are. It's hard to cater to a small subsection of people that are looking for real/Cali mexican. I get it. But dang its really fallen far from its OG tacos.
TLDR - stick to carnitas, horchata and churros and ignore the rest...
Read moreToday Nov 27 my wife and I sat ourself at the first table near the bar at your restaurant , waited for 20 minutes , no one came to take our order or greeted us , so we got up and left . The waitresses were all confused with food orders , they were coming around with plates of food and didn’t know what table to deliver the food to and were ignoring all the customers . I don’t know what the confusion was , either the cooks in the kitchen or the waitresses . I am Latino from California and grew on with Mexican and was looking forward on trying your Tacos al pastor and carnitas . I own a business too and Customer Service is always a priority , will try you again later . Management should look into this...
