Buddy’s Pancit Lucban at Longganisang Lucban — Restaurant in Makati

Growing up in Quezon Province, I loved eating in its tiny restaurant. Their pansit “habhab” was simply made with few ingridients, but it’s very tasty. I can’t remember the last time I had some of their comfort foods since moving abroad, and so when I came home in 2022, I made sure to visit their branch along Kalayaan. I was very excited to try again of what I thought was a childhood comfort foods I once loved. But I was really disappointed when all meals were put out on the table. The chicken barbecue plates were cold, their fresh lumpia was also table cold, “habhab” became tasteless to my palate. I did not bother to complain of cold foods because I do not want to be a nuisance to them. I had family with me (and spent tons of money). It’s such a disappointment. I won’t give it...

We dined here last night for dinner. While most of the food was good, we had an issue with the chicken. One of the pieces was still uncooked when it was served. We returned it, but when it came back, it was clear that they had simply refried the same piece. And even though it looked crispier on the outside, it was still uncooked on the inside.

This was quite disappointing, and we decided not to return it again. Not to mention, it seemed that the staff had time to chitchat instead of double-checking the food they were serving.

It was disappointing how they handled it. Anyway, I don’t want one mistake to completely affect my experience. The rest of the food...

Sorry but I was disgusted at Buddy's Calamba Branch... we ordered bulalo , pansit , crispy pata and dinuguan etc...the beef is tough and the pork in dinuguan is the same ... We hardly ate and we just ask the waiter to just wrap and took it home to cook further ... the crispy pata is not crispy anymore it seems it was just reheated... Will never recommend it to my guest ... We always eat atTimog branch which serves better i thought it's the same here ... another thing the waiter served water in a pitcher but did not give any glass to drink on and just went away ... so i have to get glasses by myself to my frustration and just left the place hurriedly after calling the attetion of the manager coz my guest are all seniors who...
