Such a shame. Their food was okay but one staff member ruined our entire experience. We went there on my birthday weekend only to be gaslighted by their receptionist.
I booked online (through the Vikings website) for a party of 6. Mind you, they only have one long table so if there are more than 4 in your group, you’ll either have to squeeze in or use multiple tables. So my cousin arrived ahead of me so I told him to give my name for the reservation. Here’s when the series of horrific events started, the reservation was nowhere to be found.
Unfortunately, there was another big group that came just ahead of my cousin and so he had to ask the receptionist how this situation was going to be handled (obviously, we wanted to be seated together). To which he got a dismissive reply of “May nauna na sa inyo. Wala kayong reservation.” (Something alone those lines) Fine. But as someone from the service industry, where’s the curiosity to find out if the customer indeed made a reservation? Let alone, where is the courtesy to respond appropriately?
Fast forward to my arrival, I approached the same receptionist (and mind you, my cousin didn’t tell me anything that happed between him and the receptionist) to ask what happened to my reservation. I showed her the text from Vikings (which I think owns the group of Meatogether and others) which confirmed my reservation. And wow! The response I got was, “Sa Vikings yan, sir! Hindi yan dito!” In my head, I was like, girl, you don’t know who manages your reservations??? I let that slide though and asked her what could have possibly happened as we walked towards our table. I received the same response as what my cousin got when he arrived. This was when I started to get upset. Imagine, my birthday, with my family, we wanted to be seated together and what do we get: a receptionist who lacks good attitude and acceptable customer service skills. My aunt had to calm her down as she continued to shrug any responsibility from their end.
I called the Vikings hotline to clarify what could have caused the problem. The agent talked to the restaurant manager and the latter confirmed that there was a glitch (?) in their system. I then asked her how could she make this right for us and the pitiful reply was “Sorry, this won’t happen again.” Well, hell yes it won’t because I don’t want to experience the same lack-luster service ever again.
This was such a disappointment considering a big brand like Vikings lacks proper training/people development. I hope they get to work on this because Meatogether has some...

Meat Together at SM Jazz is a great spot for meat lovers, especially if you're into Korean BBQ and grilled meats. The restaurant offers an interactive dining experience with grills right at your table, allowing you to cook your meat to your liking.
Ambiance: The setting is casual yet comfortable, with a modern industrial vibe. It's spacious enough for small groups or families, and the atmosphere feels lively but not too overwhelming, making it ideal for casual lunches or dinners.
Menu: Their selection of meats is impressive, offering a wide variety of cuts, from pork belly and beef to chicken. The quality of the meat is top-notch—fresh, well-marinated, and tender. Their unlimited BBQ sets provide excellent value for money. They also offer a good selection of side dishes, including kimchi, japchae, and other Korean favorites. For non-meat eaters, the menu offers a few alternatives, but the focus is definitely on grilled meats.
Service: The staff is attentive, friendly, and quick to assist with grilling or refilling orders. They’re always available to help with cooking tips or to explain menu items for those who are new to Korean BBQ.
Price: The pricing is reasonable for an all-you-can-eat BBQ, especially considering the quality of the ingredients. Expect to pay a bit more than a typical meal, but it’s well worth it for the experience and the amount of food you get.
Overall: Meat Together at SM Jazz is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts or anyone looking to enjoy a hearty, flavorful meal in a fun setting. The combination of good food, attentive service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a standout...
Read moreIt should've been 4 stars only, there's something lacking that I can't seem to find at it, i mean compared to Samgyupsalamat. But thinking about it, price is affordable and the variety of food selection, yeah, i give it 5 stars. 👍🏻
Two hours consumable, not sure what will happen if you have exceeded the time given. First, they will ask you what kind of Shabu-shabu soup. Disclaimer The Mala soup... Wow!! I loved spicy but this -- 🥵 Too hot and too furious! The waiter didn't gave us a heads up that it was toooo hot in the throat. Dang! So, if you want a hot and wild shabu-shabu, you may give it a try. 😎
Friendly staff, there were around 10nservers that time I think. They were many people coming in at night. Mostly koreans? Just asians ☺️

They even offer alcoholic beverages in the buffet, but the price is exclusive.
