Chihuahua Mexican Grill is our favorite Mexican restaurant here in Manila! Dare I say...THE BEST Burrito around! My wife and I have been goin here since we were still dating. I don't know how many times we've gone here and each time we had a wonderful time. Their food is just amazing! Our favorite would be their Carnitas Burrito and the Nacho Grande. We would also recommend their tacos and their veggie burito bowls which my wife loves whenever she's on a diet. Sadly it's been awhile since we visited and alot has changed after the pandemic. Chihuahua used to have a condiments area where you can get tons and tons of Pico de Gallo and salsa roja. Now their behind the counter and you have to ask gor refills if you ever you want some. Another downer is that I believe the price increased abit since my last visit. The place is a little dim now too. Not many lights as we last visited and it's kinda dark. It's hard to take pics if the place is dark and I hope they adjust the lighting like back then. Overall, it's still our favorite Mexican restaurant and we will always come back here for good food and...
Read moreOne the best Burritos in the Makati CBD for dine in. I have been a patron since their first outfit along Makati Avenue. I now live in Parañaque so its quite difficult to go and get this Mexican craving filled so I was quite happy to find that they now deliver NCR wide.
Sadly, what I got for lunch today was not what I was expecting. The Steak burrito’s steak was extremely well done to the point that it tasted burnt, a lot of rice versus veg, and the tortilla was extremely soggy on one side while hard on the other,
Chicken Quesadilla was put in what looks like a pizza box but when we opened it it was like someone decided to shake it like a box of dice. The quesadilla itself was okay, but the chicken in it was rubbery. Whatever salsa was given spilled all over.
Pork carnitas burrito was sort of the savior in this medley although its now a bit saltier than what I remember.
I hope this is just a delivery fluke and they still have great food when dine-in is...
Read moreThis place was recommended by a friend who neglected to tell me it is located right outside the movie theater…akin to the concession counter. That said, it is understandable that the food is overpriced. We ordered a small beef and large chicken burrito, an order of hard shell beef tacos (3 tacos) and a chili-hotdog at a cost of nearly 1500 pesos. All items were a little light on the meat but still tasty. Sour cream is available at extra charge. They offer chicken, beef and steak options for the burrito but steak was out of stock. Beer is also available. The dining tables are literally set up next to the business inside the lobby/concession area of the theater doors. It’s more a place to grab a Mexican treat to enjoy while watching your movie than a place to grab a bite and chat with friends. Again, you’re paying the “movie...
