Coffee Project — Restaurant in Makati

May 2019: It's our first time here...beautiful ambience and its very cozy. The food is okay but the coffee is great.

Jan 2023: I'm back to one of my fave coffee shop in Makati. They rearranged the place but it's still cozy with a shaby chic vibe. The place is very instagramable, adorned with lots of faux flowers and leaves. Old bicycles hung from the ceiling, big, wooden tables with mismatched chairs are strategically placed for a more comfortable seating area for family and friends get together. Overall, ambience is really warm and inviting.

The Continental Breakfast was okay. The waffle was pale in color, it wasn't toasted enough and the Hungarian sausage was locally sourced. It doesn't have the bite of the usual Hungarian sausage I'm accustomed to. The Ham & Cheese Omelette was delicious! They also have great coffee selections. We ordered Cafe Latte and Cafe Mocha. 👍

They already have rice meals on their menu. We ordered Continental Breakfast, Garlic Fried Chicken, Cafe Mocha and Cafe Latte. The rice meal is quite expensive, P395 for a full leg of fried chicken over fried rice. It tasted average, nothing special.

Mar 2024: We ordered rice meals. The portion size is smaller than the picture on the menu board. The food tasted a little bland and it's pricey for an average tasting meal. I'm not impressed with the quality and flavor...

Ordered a descent large cold americano at a price of 160php ($3.13)

The ambiance is okay. In my opinion, the tables are either too high or the chairs are too low. Noticed it even more, after about an hour my wrists & elbows were hurting from the seating arrangement (positioning).

There were plenty of power-outlets and it was nice and cold inside.

Warnings | Tips They do restrict certain streaming sites; such as YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, etc. All in a valiant attempt in retaining a decent WiFi connection; which it does seem to retain.

If you have any music you want to play on your device and get some work done. Then, I would strongly advise having it already downloaded onto your device, then jam out with coffee at this location.

Unfortunately, I am so accustomed of clicking on YouTube for some background soothing music. This left my under-prepared ending up listening to people chattering in the background.

So, whenever traveling always have several songs at least downloaded onto one of your electronic devices.

Their best seller as per cashier; worst Pasta I tasted was that Sausage and Garlic (in olive oil) I thought the food I took from the counter was a mistake as I asked if that is the right food I paid for so I asked, where is the sausage? They said it's mixed with the sauce. Looks like a ground meat to me. I went to the table and almost puked. That's just so wierd and really sweet sauce that I can't recognize what I was tasting. Their matcha green tea is good. Their rustic ambience is excellent but their staff seemed preoccupied when I got there. They have a group of chinese looking folks seemingly observing their operations/auditing; likely their investor or whatsoever. I asked if they have a table with outlet for my laptop and the guy that seemed like their manager is pointing me to a table with an outlet and folks eating, not vacant. What's the sense of pointing them right? Seemed wierded that day at that coffee shop. Restroom is wet and dirty. If you're just there for a tea or coffee it's...
