Horizon Cafe - Makati — Restaurant in Makati

We recently stayed at Jinjiang hotel coming from abroad for Christmas and New Year and we avail the breakfast buffet. The breakfast is from 6am - 10am. On our first day, we didnt get much as most food on the buffet are already run out. The succeeding days went fine.

For the food buffet, normally its soup, congee, then two set of rice: normal white and garlic, then there either fried fish or meat, there is also white bun and siomai (which we like), the buffet also have bacon and scramble egg. There is also a salad and fruit section.

We kinda like: congee, garlic rice, siomai, bacon or some other days hashbrown, scramble egg, watermelon (which my kid like)

may be need to improve for their Pancit (too salty) and the pasta (bland). The hot chocolate often times runout also. The rest are ok.

One thing that will be memorable for us while staying in Jinjiang and availing the breakfast buffet is the friendliness of the cafe staff on the breakfast section. They make sure the customers are being taking careoff. Special mention to the lady staff( we missed her name) that oversee the breakfast buffet, she is friendly and often help us provide a baby chair for which my kid feels she is her 'Ate' (sister) for this we appreciate her service and will be memorable as we go...

My family & I stayed at Jinjiang Inn for close to a month; went for at Horizon for breakfast and enjoyed our daily encounter with the staff members like Joy, Neal, Rommel, Gilbert, Edward and Val.. all of them are very friendly and they made our stay very pleasant. Quick stop while on a bank run and service was great. Fairly 'Makati price' for the portion and size. Overall we enjoyed the privacy frosted glasses and attentive service by the staff. Oh by the way when the bill came they showed us a paperless transaction and it was cool!

We tried the halo halo, big siomai and carbonara for a more safe Filipino approach 'order what you can finish'.
