Ikinari Steak Review: Japanese Steakhouse Experience
Wild Combo – ₱816 (300g combo: Half steak + half hamburg)
Add-on Set Includes beef soup, salad, and drink • ₱185 with soda • ₱130 with red iced tea
Beef Soup Tastes like a light version of nilagang baka, served hot with a few tender beef tidbits. Simple but satisfying.
Salad Fresh, crisp vegetables with a choice of dressing—roasted sesame or sesame oil. I recommend the roasted sesame for a richer flavor.
Angus Steak (Half Portion) Served semi-raw on a sizzling hot plate, letting you cook it to your liking. Tender, juicy, and not too chewy—great quality meat.
Hamburg Steak (Half Portion) Also served sizzling and semi-raw. Nicely seasoned, finely ground beef with rich umami flavor. A standout for burger steak lovers.
Service and Ordering Self-service setup. Order and pay at the counter, then food is served to your table. Straightforward and efficient.
Overall A great place for a no-frills, sizzling Japanese steak experience. Worth it for meat lovers looking for a filling and...
Read moreOrdered the 300g Diced Cut Chuck eye and upgraded to the meal that comes with soda, side salad, and soup for just an additional 120php.
Side salad comes with roasted sesame or plain sesame dressing. The soup was akin to those you get at a bulalohan in province highways. You also get seasonings for your steak at the side like savory or sweet sauce, salt, pepper, mustard, radish, and wasabi so you can season to your liking.
Now to the steak. The diced cut was more bang for your back than the regular cut (675 vs 890) but comes in limited supply daily.
The meat is from the chuck portion of the cow so don't expect ribeye tenderness. But what I like about this cut is there's very little fat and sinew with the meat. For 300 grams of beef and just around 800 pesos you get a complete meal which is great.
Service and atmosphere overall was also quitw commendable. Would definitely go back whenever I have...
Read moreChain from Japan. Located in One Ayala. The waiter informed us that we have to order in the counter first then they will bring it to our table. Strange how the table beside us didn’t have to go to the counter to order. Got the Wild Steak and Ribeye. Each steak comes with corn, carrots, and cauliflower. We asked for medium-rare. The ribeye was cooked inside in charcoal, the served it in a warm plate, came out perfectly. For the wild steak, it cooks on the sizzling platter that they out it on, so you still have to cook it, similar to Pepper Lunch. They should have informed us that and instructed us how it was supposed to be cooked, as it eventually became overcooked. Big taste difference between the ribeye and the wild steak. Don’t have to add any of the sauces to the ribeye anymore, already tasty as is. But for the wild steak you need to add the sauces as it was not...
