This was my first time trying out thai food. I decided to go here to see if I would actually like thai food before booking a flight there. I ordered their 1pc street cart style chicken and I requested either thigh or leg part for both my boyfriend and I. It was a good thing I just ordered 1pc because their chicken was really big!!! It was more than enough for the rice they served. It came with 2 dipping sauces. I’m not sure what their dipping sauces was but both complimented the chicken really well especially the spicier one. The chicken by itself is nothing special and honestly, I don’t like it without the sauce. I think those were the highlight of the dish along with the crispiness of the skin.
I also ordered their thai milktea and it tasted almost like chatramue. They must have probably used their powdered milktea to make this one, I just wish their ice wasn’t tube ice since switching it out with nugget ice would have made the experience way better. Milktea was still good and I would definitely order it again.
Service was also okay. Food was served on time; we were seated immediately; staff was also nice. It took a while for the staff to notice us when we were billing out even though there were barely any people in the store. It’s understandable since it seems like the store was fairly new and their staff might still be adjusting.
Overall, I would definitely go back and try their other dishes. I really did enjoy their food. It was definitely worth it and it was...

Review: Food ordered: Fried Chicken Krapao (₱249.00) Watermelon Shake (₱149.00)
The serving was generous. I love the sweetness and a bit spicy flavor of the Fried Chicken Krapao. The Watermelon Shake was fresh. The place was a bit crowded. However, there are seats outside the main restaurant as well. The staff were friendly and courteous. It took a while for my order to arrive. But it was understandable since the place was jam packed. Overall, I loved their food.
Update: Went back to order the following: Yaowaraj Fried Rice (289.00) Good for 2-3 pax. It's savory. Grilled Chicken on top is tender. Chicken Khao Soi (339.00) Good for sharing too. Love the level of spiciness. Soup is good. Noodles os a bit hard though. Mango Sticky Rice (199.00) Good for sharing. It's a bit bland. It would be nice if they sprinkled coco sugar. Rice though was...
Read moreThe food at Khao Khai – One Ayala was excellent—super sarap! The service was fast and efficient. What truly made our experience special was Sir Robei. From the moment we entered until we left, he was consistently accommodating, attentive, and professional. He’s incredibly hardworking, kind, and clearly dedicated to his role. His all-around support and positive attitude made a big difference in our visit. Because of him, we genuinely enjoyed our time at the restaurant. He truly deserves a raise or even a promotion. Kudos and job well done, Sir Rodei!
We ordered the Yaowaraj Fried Rice—very savory and paired perfectly with the Gai Tod. The Garlic Beans were also a great side. The Gai Tod with Eggs was a standout: the chicken was cooked to perfection, the toppings and sauce were flavorful, and the egg brought everything together. It’s easily one of our favorite comfort foods now. And to top it off, the prices are super affordable. We’ll definitely be...
