wait what? i haven't posted a review? omg.. i've been here several times! okay.. i have a story.

my first time here wasn't even me dining in, i was on my way to mrt going home.. i got an alarm reminder for my meds and i don't have a tumblr. so i went in fatseed and asked for water because i need to drink it on time. right then and there is my first time experiencing kind and warm customer service from them. guy staff was friendly to give me a glass of water.. i took my meds, looked around and thought.. oh, this is a good one. this can be a place for lunch meetings at work. i gave my thanks to the staff. then i came back like a month or two to have a meal that time.. it was dinner and oh the food is damn good! what i love also about fatseed is it's a safe and good place to work in. it's not chaotic.. hindi sila madamot sa wifi (pero don't take it for granted okie?). but what keeps me coming back is really the staff who gives awesome service always like 👌👌👌👌👌🤌🤌🤌🤌. not being OA, it's just true. they're attentive too! i remember aileen/airyn ba? sorry but i remember 2 faces of the women staff. just a few weeks ago i was here, this time with friends.. and we had a nice meal together. i'll always be back here for sure.. i'd like to think of myself as a regular na hihi 😊 but yeah, i love it here. it's now on my favorites 💛

please don't change your quality of service and food okie? and please send my hearty happy mucho delicioso compliments to whoever made your grilled cheese tomato soup recipe - my happy food ☺ and the mushroom...

It was past dinner time and just went in fo a quick drink before heading home.

Food: Just had Matcha Latte and Brownie ala mode during our visit. The Latte art was so nice! It was the highlight of my visit. Small things like this make my day. The brownie was yummy, but quite surprising because it seems to be half-baked? I can still bite into the sugar, it melts well with the vanilla ice cream.

Service: There was no waiting area, if the place was full you would have to wait outside. Since its a few hours before closing time, we were able to get in and be seated immediately. However, the waiter who served us seems to be irritated that our group was having a hard time deciding on our orders, and only to find out that we decided on just coffee and sweets ( we already about to head home, just wanted something warm and sweet). After taking our orders, one staff placed a jar of utensils on our table, then the waiter who took our order shouted at him and said " walang pagkain yan!" to prompt him to take back the jar. For me it was unprofessional, he could just take it out without yelling at his colleague.

This place seems to fall under "restaurant" and not a cafe ( as their name suggests), because they have a service charge of 10%. Quite a big chunk for some rude staff. Feedback to improve: train the crew well regarding...

This was our second time eating at The Fat Seed Cafe but this time in a different branch. I was elated to discover that there's a new branch closer than going to Greenbelt when I'm going from Glorietta. The place was beautifully decorated, and kudos to the staff allowing us to sit at the bar while waiting for our table. The place was packed as it was dinner time but I noticed that regardless of the time, the resto even the one in gbelt tends to be full, as it should because the food here leaves me speechless every time. My personal favorite is the Chicken and Waffle - super filling as all the other dishes too which makes it such a worth for the price meal, the salted egg sauce that comes with the waffle is just addicting. The Maple Bacon Slab surprised me upon tasting it, it was soft and utterly delicious but can become quite overwhelming for a while which the Kimchi fried rice balances it out well. The Brazilian Limeade is now a must order drink for me, tasted somehow similar to yakult but with a hit of lime, I had the LGBT drink before but it was not for me so I was really happy with this one. From our past dine-in, we also ordered the ceasar salad, steak, and tartufo pasta which were absolutely divine. If you dine here, not ordering the salted egg chicken skin...
