Mediocre Korean Barbecue in Ayala Mall, second floor. 1900p for mostly tough meat and a very skimpy seafood plate. Mostly green mussels, and for some reason, the seafood extra plate has potatoes, Vienna sausages, and fish tofu on it. 3 small shrimp, 15 green mussels( over cooked), and corn. Pre cooked and overdone. Selection of poor quality meats to cook yourself, and very tired looking bar of vegetables and add ins. Two watery juice choices, and San Miguel light and pale pilsener in cans only at 120p each. Canned sodas and original flavor Soju available too, but was told that they are not served cold. Hard to get service, had to walk over to counter to get anything additional for table BBQ, and beer. Have to ask to get utensils and napkins. 30 minutes plus wait, because they are understaffed, 2 servers that we could see working, lots of helpers? Six tables not used in back section could have reduced the wait to nothing, but was told that they don't have enough servers to use them? Have been to many Korean BBQs, this was by far the least appetizing experience due to the low quality of offerings and really hot dining area. Need better ventilation and airflow. Very smokey inside. 2200p check after service charge and vat for two people was very high considering the offerings. Advertised price was 599 and 699 for upgrade each.

My experience at Mr. Korea was okay overall, with a few highs and lows worth mentioning. The service was definitely the highlight—the staff were attentive, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made the dining experience comfortable and pleasant. They were quick to refill, check on us, and ensure we had everything we needed, which I really appreciated. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The miso soup that came with the shabu-shabu was unfortunately on the sour side, which was quite unexpected and not to my taste. It didn’t quite deliver the comforting and balanced flavor that miso soup usually has. On the brighter side, the meal ended on a sweet note with their soft-serve ice cream, which was simple but very yummy—creamy, light, and a nice way to wrap up the dining experience. The overall vibe of the restaurant was lively and welcoming, which made it a decent spot to gather with friends or family. While the flavors weren’t all consistent for me, the great service and the little touches like the soft-serve ice cream made the visit enjoyable.

Unsanitary and not recommended. Not worth the price and service charge. We ate here yesterday lunch, Saturday and hindi na mauulit. As per staffs, maraming hindi available sa choices like scallops and crab meat pero tinry pa din namin kumaen. Food: 1. Succeeding refills, only kimchi and radish lang binigay. 2. Nilalangaw ang hot pot ingredients. As in ang dami ng langaw sa area na yun at expose mga food kaya di namin naenjoy ung pa-hotpot nila. Hindi nila pinapansin mga langaw. 3. Pork meat - puro taba. Mga 10% lang ung meat vs fat. Beef, 30% meat the rest fats din. Atmosphere: No aircon. Lahat sira. Puro air coolers ang meron pero not enough to make the area cool kaya para kaming nasa oven plus the smoke and heat ng grills. May water leak sa ceiling near the juice area. Madulas ang floor not sure if because of oil or lack of cleaning. Lahat kami super ingat maglakad. Never again.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mr. Korea, located in Ayala North Exchange, and I must say that it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This authentic Korean restaurant truly stands out among the dining options in the area, offering a combination of delicious cuisine, warm hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere.

As soon as I entered Mr. Korea, I was greeted by the inviting aromas of Korean spices and the friendly smiles of the staff. The interior design exudes a modern yet traditional vibe, with tasteful decorations and comfortable seating arrangements. The restaurant's ambiance creates the perfect setting for an enjoyable meal, whether you're dining alone, with friends, or with family.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. Mr. Korea serves up a wide variety of Korean dishes, each one crafted with care and bursting with authentic flavors. The menu caters to all tastes and dietary preferences, with options for meat lovers, vegetarians, and seafood enthusiasts alike. Whether you're a fan of classic dishes like Bibimbap, Japchae, or Kimchi Jjigae, or you're looking to try something new, Mr. Korea has something to satisfy every palate.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying their signature dish, the Galbi Jjim (Braised Beef Short Ribs). The meat was incredibly tender, marinated to perfection, and accompanied by a flavorful sauce. It was a true delight for my taste buds, and I savored every bite. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I left feeling completely satisfied.

The service at Mr. Korea was top-notch. The waitstaff were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and more than happy to provide recommendations or answer any questions I had. They made me feel welcome and ensured that my dining experience was pleasant from start to finish.

In terms of pricing, Mr. Korea offers great value for money. The quality of the food, coupled with the generous portions, makes it a worthwhile investment. The prices are reasonable considering the overall dining experience and the authenticity of the cuisine.

To sum it up, Mr. Korea at Ayala North Exchange is a hidden gem for Korean food enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a fantastic combination of authentic flavors, a cozy atmosphere, and impeccable service. Whether you're craving a hearty meal, looking to try new flavors, or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Mr. Korea is the place to go. I highly recommend it, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

During my recent visit to Mr. Korea at Ayala North Exchange, I had the pleasure of being served by the exceptional waitress, Mae. Her professionalism, attentiveness, and warm demeanor truly enhanced my dining experience.

From the moment I was seated, Mae greeted me with a welcoming smile and made me feel right at home. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, as she effortlessly explained the different dishes, provided recommendations, and accommodated my dietary...

As a food enthusiast, I recently visited a samgyupsal place and here's my honest review. First off, the grill place is easy to locate and the place is well-lit, which makes it a comfortable place to dine in. However, it took some time for the staff to let us in even though it wasn't yet full, as half of the place was already occupied, maybe because it was during lunchtime.

We availed of the unlimited beef grill for two hours, and the beef was of good quality. They had few side dishes, which were average. However, we had to wait a long time for our orders, which was a bit frustrating. Luckily, order slips were provided on our table, so we could order more meat to grill. But we found out that our order slip indicated the wrong table, so we had to double-check and confirm that the table number in our order slip and the number in our table were the same.

Moving on to the food, it was good, but if you're a hardcore samgyupsal eater, it may not satisfy your cravings. The drinks were refillable and self-service, which is a plus. However, I noticed many German cockroaches around the drink area, and the smell was evident if you're familiar with the smell of the cockroach. I'm not sure if that section is infested, but it was a red flag for me.

One more thing I would like to add is that we also had to wait a considerable amount of time for the bill to arrive. It was a bit inconvenient, as we were ready to leave but had to wait for quite some time to settle the bill.

On the bright side, the staff was quick and accommodating, which made the overall experience good. However, if someone asked me if I would go back to eat again, I would probably check out other samgyupsal places first. So, if you're in the area and looking for a samgyupsal place to try, this one may be worth a visit, but be prepared for the downsides...

Lemme tell ya somethin’ about this place, right off the bat—it was just okay, and that’s me bein’ generous. Walked in, seemed like they just opened, but they sat us down at a table that was dirtier than a mudhole after a Texas storm. Crumbs, candy wrappers—hell, looked like somebody threw a party and forgot to clean up. So we move to the next table, but apparently, they didn’t want us sittin’ there. Fine. They shuffle us to another table, and guess what? It’s no better! Long hair all over the seat and dirt everywhere. So I had to brush it off myself like I work there or somethin’. That’s strike one.

Now let’s talk about the food. Got myself some ingredients for the hot pot. First bite, and I’m thinkin’, “Where the hell’s the flavor?” It was bland as hell, so I didn’t even bother finishing it. The meats? Hit or miss. The shrimp and chicken were solid—no complaints there—but that beef? Fatty, chewy, and tougher than a two-dollar steak. Felt like I was doin’ jaw curls with every bite. Didn’t mess with the pork, but I had enough of the beef, seafood, and chicken to know what was what.

Now here’s the kicker—the ventilation in this place was flat-out terrible. Whole joint was filled with smoke, like I was sittin’ in a campfire. I get it, you’re gonna smell like smoke at a hot pot place, but this was next level. I’m talkin’ so bad I was coughin’ like I just went three rounds with a pack of smokes. If you’ve got asthma or even just wanna breathe properly, stay the hell away from this place. That ventilation system? Worst I’ve ever seen, and that’s sayin’ somethin’.

The only thing they got right was the service. The staff did their job, so I’ll give ’em credit where it’s due. But if you’re askin’ me if i am comin’ back to this place, the answer’s hell no. On a scale of 1 to 5, this place gets a 3, and that’s me...
