Very very busy Starbucks, try to avoid it unless you are craving some Starbucks and you have some free time on your hands. This is my experience during morning times - not sure about later in the day. This is because it is located next to a 20-something story business building (at a very busy intersection), and white collar Filipinos sure love their Starbucks, making this place especially busy!! I do not agree with one of the reviewers saying this place has fallen off due to various reasons that are untrue. One, there were like a gazillion people ahead of me and all their POS machines were working, and two, the baristas were exceptionally friendly and very courteous! Finally, the reviewer was 'prompted' to write a review because the place has fell off - well gee thats not fair! Why not write a review when they were good...
Read moreCustomer service has dropped, prompting me to write a review. Problems I had were:
A. There was 10 people in line, 6 baristas, one order being taken although there are two POS units in the front. I don't think that's cool that all the people should wait while one lady holds up the line with a credit card transaction.
B. I get to the register and throw down my order slip and card. "Sir, down po yung system so you have to pay cash, but you'll get the star." Well why would I pay cash when I have 500 pesos on my card? That's a little inconvenient don't you think.
C. The baristas prior to the current ones were awesome, friendly, fun and fast. Now they have these people who have a total lack of energy and competence, makes me wonder who's managing...
