First time dining here in this branch with my partner and the experience with the food and service was really terrible.
We were regular customers at Alabang Town Center branch when it was still open and we didn’t have a problem there so we assumed it would be the same here.
Upon entering the lady staff took 3-5mins for her to get us a seat since she didn’t even notice us enter and she was busy doing random things on a quiet Sunday morning. Upon seating, I realized the water was not yet served when 10-15mins has already passed. That’s when I asked the waitress to serve us water, I did it in a sarcastic way which I think she didn’t take in a good way. We were instantly taken away with the bad impression and service she gave and this act is something we shouldn’t be even asking properly.
Our orders took more than 30mins to arrive for 2 sandwiches on a non-busy Sunday. We arrived at 8:20am and 8:50am it was still not served. We didn’t mind following it up anymore and just waited patiently.
Finally upon receiving our orders, we were presented with sandwiches that wasn’t even plated properly and looked like a mashed up sandwich with overcooked eggs. It seemed like the kitchen didn’t even put the time to prepare our food properly and it took them that long to serve it. Not to mention that the sandwich tasted bland and it wasn’t even worth eating. The menu also said that it would come with a sourdough bread but based on photos it didn’t even seem like they used sourdough.
We are definitely not coming back here. Service and Food is 1/10. Staffs were also shouting at each other casually like other customers are not around. It seemed like we were the ones who had to adjust to their “home”. Very...
Read moreI found The Wholesome Table Salcedo and really liked it.
The first time I went I had the salmon brunch, and it was just what I was hoping for. The salmon tasted fresh, the flavors were balanced, and it felt like the kind of meal where you could tell the ingredients were picked with some care. It was satisfying without being heavy, and the portion was enough to leave me full but not stuffed.
The place itself has a calm, welcoming feel. The light and layout make it easy to relax, whether you are by yourself or with someone. The background noise is low enough to have a conversation without raising your voice, and the overall vibe felt like a step above the typical brunch spot without feeling forced.
I ended up going back three or four times, and the quality held up. The food stayed consistent, and the staff were friendly and not overbearing. Even on busier days the service moved along at a reasonable pace. It was nice to see the same level of care in the dishes on repeat visits, which made it easy to make it a go-to when I was in the area.
Overall, it’s a solid place for organic food that doesn’t try too hard. I would go again when I want something that feels both fresh and...
Read moreI love this place, I've eaten here twice; the ambience is great and the food is good. Staff are nice and were quick to tend to me. On my second visit, I came in alone during lunch rush and had to sit at a communal table as there were no free tables. I'm on a soft food diet currently, and I ordered their Carrot & Pumpkin Soup and "Be Worthy" smoothie. Both tasted great, but they were also quite expensive. On my previous visit, I had the Truffle Mushroom Pasta, which also tastes good and is filling. Serving portions for the food is quite generous. The smoothie came with an edible straw, which can go soft if you soak it too long, but can eat after you're done with your drink.
I ordered their Mochi Donuts to-go (they only had Vanilla & Strawberry glaze available when I went), but I was disappointed with them; the glaze crumbled off the donuts and they weren't as soft and chewy as I expected. The taste of the donuts were not worth the price for me, and it's why I took a star off this review.
Overall a great experience, but be prepared to pay a pretty penny for the food; this is not a restaurant you would want to visit on a...
