Info from Google states open till midnight but without knowing they close at 10pm and arriving at 0945 the lady sat me down without hesitation. There was a small group at a table eating so I thought cool still open. It was towards the end of my meal, 1025pm, when I asked about their hours because I noticed the kitchen area was being cleaned. I apologized to the young lady but she was very gracious throughout my first time at this place or any other of their locations. So what I ordered was the #1 daily steal with onion rings. They brought over my order but with fries. I mentioned to the guy but I said it was cool because they were the shoestring fries that I really like. A couple minutes later he brought over onion rings. I'm so glad he did because those onion rings were pretty damn good. I only have 2 days left in Makati but will return the day before I leave because it was that good. The burger, fries, onion rings and most importantly the people who provided a great and memorable first time experience...
Read moreThe OG 8Cuts in Salcedo has always been my go-to spot from when I used to live in the area, and it never disappoints. This time, I ordered a cheeseburger (usually I go for the Hangover Burger, for obvious reasons!), Parmesan chicken wings, and of course, their iconic onion rings.
The cheeseburger was incredibly juicy and flavorful, holding together perfectly after a few bites—no messy burger situation here. I paired it with their homemade hot sauce, which was just the right touch of heat and balance. The onion rings? Absolutely divine. Perfectly crispy, generously coated with cheese, and just plain addictive. I honestly don’t know how they achieve that level of perfection. The chicken wings were equally impressive; the Parmesan was evenly distributed, and the wings retained their crispy texture despite the cheesy topping.
Service was top notch, quick, efficient, and easy. Without a doubt, this place earns a solid 5/5. I’ll be back...
Read moreThe service has always been excellent and 8 cuts does a great job of remembering that comfort food includes being comfortable. Great music selection, cozy without being too crowded, options for sitting around a big table with friends, staying to yourself in the corner, or people watching as folks go by outside.
I've seen this place listed in several places as the best cheeseburger in Manila. I'm willing to keep doing my research but this is definitely in the top two so far. The key is the ingredients and the care and preparation and the same work ethic in the kitchen as the service staff have on the floor. If you are a local looking to treat yourself or a foreigner looking for a taste of home make sure you stop by here and grab a bite.
If you've read this far be sure to get the skinny fries solo appetizer to go with your burger. These are the best fries I have had in Manila at a...
