Stepping into Starbucks Reserve Stratosphere Building on Valero Street is like finding a calm in Makati's famous hustle. Even after a humid walk from Greenbelt, this spot offers a delightful escape, a perfect little moment of headspace amidst the midday rush of lunch-goers returning to their offices. Despite a decent line for coffee and other beverages, the store has these amazing nooks where you can truly find a moment of peace and quiet. It's ideal for those times you just need to be "alone" for a bit, even when surrounded by the city's energy. Given the summer heat and the walk from the Makati Stock Exchange area, I went for an affogato. The crew was super helpful, explaining the two varieties available, and I opted for the classic. Settling into my temporary "empire" of a table and chair, with a great view of the street, I savored every bit of it. The bold, bitter espresso perfectly contrasted with the creamy, sweet, and silky vanilla ice cream – a true adventure for the taste buds. And the Biscoff cookie? That's a delightful touch that adds a pleasant confusion to the mix. It's both refreshing and rejuvenating, a perfect pick-me-up for any time of day. Whether you're a Makati regular looking for a new go-to or visiting the city and want a unique Starbucks experience, the Stratosphere Reserve store is definitely worth going out o your way for.

I ordered a reserve americano and double espresso. The beans are physically burnt. Not a burnt aroma. The water is also off with tastes of chloride and fluoride. The crema on the espresso was good but non-existent on the americano. It was brewed with a different method and not the espresso machine. I personally prefer americano from the espresso machine. It's always a huge letdown to serve coffee in plastic cups. Kills the entire experience. The low chair dining is not really inviting.

Went there last January.I super love the ambiance,so classy. And we went there after rush hour so it was not that crowded.I like watching how they prepared the siphoned coffee. We ordered the Tanzania flavor and the price was very reasonable for a big cup.2 persons can share for their serving. The taste, well i am not a coffee expert to tell the difference between the other brewed coffees but i can say it is best to eat it with your fave cheesecake.hehe

A Sip

Inside the Stratosphere in Makati’s grace, Lies a coffee haven, a warm, refined space. Starbucks Reserve, where the brews are divine, And every small detail is right on the line.

The staff? Oh, a joy — so friendly, so kind, With courteous smiles and attentive mind. They welcomed me in with such gracious delight, And served up a flat white, pure coffee gold-white.

The barista, a master, so skilled and sincere, He tweaked every note till perfection was near. Not just a brew, but a cup made with art, Each sip a soft melody warming the heart.

The AC was strong — a tropical balm, That wrapped the whole café in comforting calm. The vibe? So inviting, both stylish and chill, A perfect retreat from Makati’s high thrill.

So here’s my review, both honest and true: If you crave great coffee with a view, Head to this spot — it's a top-tier embrace, I’d highly recommend this...

I would say the worst starbucks in Makati when it comes to making drinks. I always order my drink grande on a venti whenever im in starbucks but this branch really has the worst tasting ever, bland and the cup will be filled with ice even you’d remind them to not add more just to fill the cup, you wont even taste what you are drinking anymore. Earlier i ordered the Creamy pure matcha latte, and asked them to reduce ice as it was over filled with it, matcha was tasting water already, the lady barista (didnt notice her name) scooped out almost 3/4 of ice from my cup leaving with 1/4 matcha on my cup without even offering to make another one....
