We discovered this restaurant on social media, and I was convinced to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday there. We made a reservation, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t turn out great. Still, I’ll just focus on what actually happened.
The reception was accommodating, we were seated right away at the spot we requested, which had a nice city view. However, when it came time to order, we were disappointed to find that many of the dishes listed online weren’t available. It made choosing our meals more difficult. On top of that, it was really hard to get the attention of any waiter, and they didn’t even offer us service water.
When we asked about their best-selling drinks, the waiter didn’t know. I also made a special request to have “Happy Birthday” written on the dessert plate, something I saw done for other customers, but the waiter said that’s only for birthday celebrants and asked for an ID as verification. We provided the ID, and they confirmed our order.
After waiting for about half an hour, our food finally arrived one by one. While waiting for the birthday dessert, we eventually decided to start eating since it was nearly impossible to get the attention of any staff.
What really bothered us was seeing other birthday celebrants being greeted, sung to, and celebrated by the staff, something we were expecting too, especially since I informed them it was my girlfriend’s birthday. But we didn’t get any of that, and the birthday dessert never arrived. We ended up asking for the rest to be packed for takeout and requested the bill.
Again, it took a long time to get the waiter. When the bill arrived, the dessert wasn’t included, which was fine, since we already lost interest by then. But what frustrated us more was the ₱200+ service charge. For that amount, we expected at least decent service, but we didn’t even get basic service water. The serving was slow, and the waiters were unresponsive, to the point that even the people at the table next to us looked visibly annoyed.
In the end, we just left with our takeout. Honestly, we felt that even Jollibee would’ve been more worth it. This place is all hype because of the view, but the service was poor and the food choices were very limited.
Again, I’m not trying to bring them down, this review is based solely on our experience. If you had a better one, we’re...

We went here last night. It was Friday but the place was not full. A lively (or should I say LOUD) music welcomed us upon exiting the elevator in the 21st floor of Lepanto Building. We went upstairs to the 22nd floor and we were greeted by the guard on duty and the receptionist assisted us to the high table with a very stunning view of Makati CBD. A very accomodating staff approached and took our orders. For food, we ordered Beef Salpicao, Golden Crab Cake and Mini Tortilla. For cocktails, my partner had Frozen Kiwi Mojito and Sweet Daisy and I had Night in the Plaza.
Our orders were served in a short period of time. First, we had Golden Crab Cake. I'm telling you, this dish is a bomb!!! It was really delicious! It didn't crumble when we bit it which I really liked. We could have one more order of this if we were not yet full last night. Next, we had the Mini Tortilla. It was good. The chili con carne and wagyu added excitement to this dish. Lastly, we had Beef Salpicao. The beef was so tender and indeed very delicious. We were really satisfied with the food. Likewise with the cocktails! What we had were really good. I personally liked the Sweet Daisy while my partner liked all 3 cocktails we ordered.
Aside from the great food and cocktails and excellent service, the place itself is very satisfying. It made me feel I was drinking with Leonardo DeCaprio in the movie The Great Gatsby.
Overall, it was a great experience! We'll definitely come...
Read moreWe went here for their Valentine’s Day dinner which was PHP 2500/head for a 4 course meal. The place itself is quite nice, located on the roof of the 21st floor with a decent view of Ayala triangle and the surround buildings. The interior design looked like scenes from “The Great Gatsby”, giving a high class feel. The servers were very accommodating and quick to refill our waters. My biggest problem here was the 4 course meal. It was a set meal for Valentine’s Day but everything that came out was very underwhelming. For 2500 a head I was expecting more food, way more. Everything that came out was definitely precooked and COLD. The appetizer was okay, the soup wasn’t even 1/3 full of the bowl. The main course, which was a Surf and Turf of “wagyu” beef and seabass was so disappointing, it was like 50g of each. I knew there was a problem when they didn’t ask me how I wanted the beef cooked (ie medium rare, rare, etc) suggesting that even the main course is precooked and probably just sitting there waiting for a couple to be ready to eat it. The dessert was okay too. Everything was small portions and cold when it was supposed to be at least warm. After finishing the meal I was still very hungry. Paying 5000 total for the meal for two with such little portions, it was such an obvious cash grab, an exploitation of Valentine’s Day. I’ve only been here once for this event so I can’t speak for the quality of food during non-event days. Despite the nice interior design and ambience, with such a disappointing food experience, I don’t expect to ever eat here again. For this reason I...
